Introduction Thesis: Although I initially felt that taking a class in psychology would be a waste of my time, it has proved well beyond useful in different applications to my every day life. I. My grades were almost always a disappointment to my family and friends. A. I struggled with studying and grades throughout High School. B. After the first couple of tests in psychology, I felt overwhelmed. II. I sought out new ways to study in school. A. I needed a new way to study if I wanted to make good grades in the class. B. We began a chapter on memory that brought together many study techniques in one place. III. I Applied these terminologies and techniques from psychology to studying. A. These techniques learned in psychology helped me nearly ace my third psychology test. B. I applied psychology terms and techniques to other aspects of school and life.
