THE RENEGADES OF SLUTS are a four piece hard rock band out of Virginia. The songs they play are straight up, rock & roll. Each of the members compliments each other live as well as in the studio. Combining the raw grit of early 70's bands with the power and volume of the 80's and the stripped down look of the 90's, THE RENEGADES OF SLUTS get good response from crowds wherever they perform.
Formed in mid 2001, each decided on a stage pseudonym and R.O.S. quickly went into the studio. They released a single for porn queen Brittany Andrews (rated by Playboy Magazine as one of the Top Ten Female Adult Entertainers of all time) at her request. Brittany Andrews uses the song at her personal appearances as well as the theme song for her TV show, broadcast over the internet. The single was released as a limited edition XXX version, with the song also included on their full length debut release later in the year. Their 9 song, self titled debut received good reviews from everyone from hard core bikers to metalheads to southern rockers.
THE RENEGADES OF SLUTS quickly started to play shows up and down the east coast and played the Atlanta and Charlotte KISS Expos mulitiple times with the likes of Bruce Kulick, Mark St. John, Jason McMaster, Kenny Kweens, and Ron Keel. They also formed a special bond with porn queen Julie Robbins and wrote and released her theme song " Carolina Fine ". After a long wait R.O.S. finally release the much anticipated cd " Poor White Trash " in 2006. It sold out quickly and is currently out of print.
THE RENEGADES OF SLUTS are currently not active. Drummer DICK DOG and Vocalist DICK TATTOO have moved to Las Vegas, NV to pursue other musical interests while guitarist DICK NUX is in Virginia Beach, VA working on his shred material. The band will never break up and will reunite to rock your ass again!
