Rallisport Challenge is an amazingly realistic racing experience that is only on the Xbox. It puts you in the driver's seat of rally racing exitement with more than 25 fully licensed cars, four adrenaline pumping rally race modes, a wide choice of tracks to choose between, custom soundtrack option, blistering multiplayer and much, much more. |
| REVIEW: Some people call Rallisport Challenge the Halo of Xbox racing games. Some even say it dethrones Grand Turismo 3 as the king of the racing genre. These points are arguable, but one thing is for certain: Rallisport Challenge is AMAZING. For starters, not many console games look better. The textures are Halo quality, trees and grass sway in the breeze, the framerate stays rock solid and, like so many other Xbox games, draw-in is completely nonexistent. Having said that, do not dismiss Rallisport as being just another pretty racer. The gameplay is an intuitive mix of simulation and arcade racing that maximizes the fun without being too easy or too frustrating. There are plenty of cars and tracks to unlock as you progress through the single player mode and the option to use your own soundtracks is much appreciated. Rallisport Challenge is a rare game that combines jaw-dropping visuals, tight gameplay and a significant amount of depth that will keep you entertained for some time to come. |
