THE ITALIAN PERMANENT COLLECTION OF THE TRIENNIALE DI MILANO (1945-2000) EXHIBITION-2001 BACK
We helped the Italians with the arrangement of their things in the exhibition hall. The interesting part about their exhibition is that they bring their own flooring as well as arrangement for all the stuffs on display. Actually the school welcomed their arrival with many box shaped cubes so that the items can be displayed on top. I'm very impressed by their preparation. They came with a modular system of flooring that can be joined into a piece of gigantic floor. You can see it below. They have their own table which can be set up within 5 minute. Very impressive. Everything is so easy to be set up and you are impressed how strong all the things are although they are so simple.
I was keeping my eyes on the Italian ladies to see whether they have moustaches. haha! That's what my uncle always said about them. Oh well, there are about 100 items on display but I only show around 60 of them below. Some are quite retro while some are totally brand new, looking at the period of time the exhibition suppose to represent. Generally, the things are quite interesting. The Italians are not only about the Renaissance and football and their food, but they can also design!

I wound think the green item to be a radio, haha! Can't remember what it was, but it looks cool. Simple.

Is it Valentino Rossi or Max. Biaggi in that dark suit? hehe!

I did not dare to sit on the glass chair at all. Glass always consciously tell you that you are TOO HEAVY FOR ME!

Imagine you are a baseball and let yourself being 'gripped' by the glove.

This simple chair sure looks like it will break apart as soon as I sit on it!

These mini tvs, my friend got one of those, but his is black and white screen, not sure about this one.

Steel chair with fur? Looks like out of place, there is another chair below that uses the same scheme.

Those 4 different diameter brownish cylinders sure looks long enough to lie on, but I did not try it then.

I particularly like the green stuff on the right. It is very soft although the physical appearance gave a sense of solidness of like a material such as plastic. It is totally different when you try to sit on it. Yes, you can sit on it. :)

I think I have such a typewritter in my house. Looks quite similar.

Nice Chinese green jade colour chair with a blend of yellow on the right. The legs are weird too.
