NHL FaceOff 2001 is the latest installment of 989 Sports' premier hockey franchise, which dates back to the very first year of the PlayStation. All of the players and teams from the 2000-2001 NHL season are present, including the two expansion teams (Minnesota and Columbus) and eight international teams. The game features the usual assortment of play modes, including Tournament, Shootout and Draft. Other enhancements include a Line Manager that lets you control offensive ad defensive play-calling, a Shot Aim Option for greater shot accuracy, and refined Icon Passing and Icon Swithcing. |
