Long long ago, back when Eevees were new, there lived a very special pair of Eevees. And that pair became the proud parents or three young Eevees: Spark, Spike, and Splash...
Their father called at the mouth of their cave.
Their mother asked, laughing.
He sighed.
And with those words, Teds turned around, and went back into his family's cave.
Eev asked, hearing a distant splashing. She shook her head in amusement. Eev said with a laugh, making her way towards the nearby river.

Arriving at the river, Eev saw her daughter swimming, or at least trying to swim, in the river.
Eev called to her youngest child, and only daughter.
A small head popped out of the water, and a small form stepped back on land. After shaking off, Splash turned to face her mother.
Eev sighed,
Splash replied, shaking out the last of the water from her fur.
Eev nudged she daughter lovingly. Splash turned around, and started back for home. Reaching the hill she turned to glance back over her shoulder.
Eev replied, with a hint of laughter in her voice.
Splash simply nodded, and started back to the cave, in a more or less strait line. Eev turned and headed north towards the scene of last night's fire.

When Eev arrived at the fire, the smoke was still very thick, and the air was very hot. It was almost too hot to be comfortable in, almost too hot to breathe.
Eev whispered, trying to see through all the smoke and dust. Something moved to her right, and Eev turned to face it.
A young voice asked, as Eev made out the form of one of her sons.
Eev sighed,
He asked, looking up at his mother's face.
Eev simply smiled and shook her head.
And with one last gentle push, Eev started Spark on his way back home.

A small Eevee approached her home, but she was not truly alone.
Splash called coming near her family's cave.
Suddenly Splash heard a sound behind her, and she turned to face it.
Splash demanded.
The Sentret didn't reply, but dashed away from the Eevee's family cave.
Splash watched him run away, knowing that she could never catch the Sentret, when suddenly he stopped, and backed back up onto his tail.
Spark Growled, using his new atttack.
He replied in a frightened voice.
Spark asked slowly, as Splash sat down on the opposite side of the Sentret.
The Sentret asked sadly, softly.
A strong voice stated.
All three Pok�mon almost jumped out of their skin, being so surprised by the new voice.
The Sentret now looked like it wished it had wings so that he could just fly away.
Teds showed his teeth, as he faced the Sentret.
The Sentret shivered a little, but nodded.
Then Teds Growled at the Sentret, and the frightened Pok�mon ran off.
Teds turned to his two children.

The small Sentret soon arrived at an elevated rock, and slowed his pace. He was soon met by a large Furret.
The Furret asked stopping before the Sentret.
Renno replied, looking his friend in the face.
Scuff frowned,
Renno sighed.
Scuff replied, turning once again to face the rock.
Both scout Pok�mon headed for the Leader Rock once again, together.

Eev walked slowly to the west, feeling the air charge with the energy of the comming storm.
Eev called softly.
Spike answered, showing himself.
Eev sighed.
Now Spike sighed.
Eev smiled,
And, once again knowing that all her children were safe, Eev turned in the direction of her home cave, and her family.

Curse Roared.
Renno seemed to shrink beside his leader, even though he was longer then Curse, if you counted his tail.
Curse snarled.
There was an almost completely silent movement behind Curse, and he turned slightly to face the new arrival.
A calm voice explained.
Curse agreed, starting to calm down.
Killer said humbly, bowing his head in respect.
Curse growled.
Killer replied in the traditional way, with a slight smile on his face.

Eev arrived back at her home cave with Spike close behind her, only to find that the rest of her family was gone.
Eev commanded her son.
Spike knew better then to argue with his mother at this moment.
Eev's smile was strained as she faced her son.
Spike gave his mother one last nudge and turned to run to his family's second home, leaving his mother alone to face unknown dangers.

From a short distance away two curious pairs of eyes watched Spike run away from his home, leaving his mother, Eev, alone.
Killer whispered to his friend.
CueBall replied, gently tapping his bone in his hand. CueBall's eyes shone with excitement, as he continued to watch Eev.
Killer smiled at his friend.

Killer roared, leaping from his hiding place.
Scare laughed rushing towards the cave Eev had just entered.
Killer commanded loudly.
Both Ground Pok�mon replied before they dug under the ground towards Eev's hiding place.
Killer commanded stopping a moment, to look for danger.
CueBall replied, holding his bone tightly as he glanced around.
Killer leapt forward, running as fast as he could, quickly joined by two other forms.
Both Nidoran said at the same time, running beside Killer towards Eev's hiding place, and their next fight.

Eev moaned seeing the other Pok�mon in the cave with her.
The Togetic said firmly, not backing down.
Eev asked him.
A small voice protested.
The rest of the Babies agreed.
There was a small sound behind the six Pok�mon, and they all turned to see who it was.
A strong voice said.
Two other voices agreed.
Flyer gasped.
Elek sighed.
Eev smiled.

Suddenly, Eev heard some distant crumbling, along with the sound of some of the walls caving in. The Pok�mon separated a bit, to face every direction at once.

They all crowded together when the walls of the back tunnel caved it.
A Sandshrew taunted as he entered the cave.
A Diglett agreed, following close behind.
Flyer, Star, Iggly, and Baby all tried to Charm the Ground Pok�mon, as both Pi and Elek hid behind the others for protection, but only Dig was affected.
The Diglett said suddenly.
Killer said coldly, from behind Pi and Elek.
Dig shook his head and looked up at Killer. Who then turned and Tail Whiped the group of Babies.
Dig Growled at them.
Sand said, his eyes locking on Eev.
Guy asked, appearing beside Killer.
Gal agreed, standing behing Killer's other shoulder.
Killer growled in frustration.
But Eev looked around at the Babies and asked,
Killer smiled cruely.
Eev was going to answer, but Flyer interupted. He said firmly.
Elek looked at his two friend, and when they both nodded, he spoke up.
Killer snarled, leaping forward.
Elek and his group met the Nidorans. Elek and Mag used Leer to lower their Defence, while Smooch used Sweet Kiss to Confuse them. Guy Leerer and Gal Growled.
Baby and Flyer met Sand and they both used Charm to lower his Attack. Sand used Defense Curl for the moment to raise his Defense.
Star, Iggly and Pi met Dig. Dispite his fear, Pi tried to Charm the Ground Type. Iggly started Singing, as Star Pounded with his small arms. Dig Growled at Star, hoping to stop any damage from his atack.
Eev faced Killer, Growling.
Killer started to glow with Safeguard's protection.
Iggly called joyfully.
Dig was fast asleep.
Pi and Star stopped their attacks, and started Charming the sleeping Diglett to stop it from being dangerous. If Dig moved, Iggly simply started Sing her song again.
Baby and Flyer both used Metronome, and while Flyer used Water Gun, Baby used Psychic. Shaking from the attacks, Sand Scrathed at Baby, almost making him faint.
Smooch Confused Gal, while Guy hit her with a Horn Attack, and made her faint. Gal hurt herself several times, until she decided to step out of the fight to get her wits around her. Mag used Ember while Elek used Quick Attack to weaken the Nidoran Male.
Eev almost pleaded, using Tail Wag.
Killer asked her, using a seven tailed Tail Wag.
Eev replied kicking up a Sand Attack.
Suddenly there was a shadow at the mouth of the cave, and all the Pok�mon turned to look at the new arrival.

CueBone's voice was angry, and eccoed in the cave. Then he drew back his arm and threw his bone in a powerful Bonemerang!
The bone hit all the fighters on Eev's side, but Eev herself. Baby fainted, as did Elek and Pi. Mag was too weak to fight anymore, and Iggly was very weak, but Star had tried to protect her, and he had fainted.
As his bone returned to his hand, CueBone noticed that only Flyer and Eev were still fit to fight, and only because Flyer's last Metronome had let him use Recover.
Killer sneared.
Eev looked over at Flyer. She bluffed.
He chalendge, as Gal recovered, and Dig woke up.
Eev asked Killer in a level tone.
Killer looked over at CueBall.
Flyer asked the weakened Baby Pok�mon.
Mag replied, slowly getting to his feet.
Iggly agreed sadly.
Eev asked her friend seeing how Iggly was staying close to Star.
Iggly replied with tears in her eyes.
Killer asked, getting impatient.
Flyer looked at him. He sighed.
Killer smiled at his victory. Killer commanded.
Dig, Sand and CueBall surrounded Flyer silently.
Guy and Gal were not so quiet. Guy snickered.
Gal taunted.
Eev started to Growl.
Killer chalenged.
Eev sighed. She looked over at Flyer, and he nodded.
Killer said, starting to lead his captives out of the cave.

Renno gasped, out of breath.
Curse looked down at the Sentret. He demanded Leering at Renno.
Renno explained quickly.
Curse got to his feet. He demanded.
Renno replied, waiting for Curse to nod.
Curse replied with a nod.
Renno nodded, turning around and running in the dirrection he had come from.
Curse followed easily, after calling over two Pok�mon.

Hedwig gasped, seeing better, and further, in the dark then Curse, she had seen Killer with Eev, and the others.
Pup asked, still not able to see.
Curse said softly.
Renno panted.
Curse's eyes went wide as he saw just who Killer's captives were. He gasped. He demanded.
Killer replied humbly.
Curse turned to Eev.
Eev stopped herself in mid Growl. She said in an emotionless voice.
Curse snapped.
Killer replied, surprised at being Roared at, and trying not to run away.
Curse smiled.
Killer looked at Curse, surprised.
He replied evenly.
Eev eyes lit up with anger, and fear. Eev asked disgusted.
Curse snarled,
Suddenly there was a tremendous Roar that was heard from the dark nearby. Curse looked around, alarmed.
Killer looked just as worried as his Leader.
Curse tried to look calm, Curse's voice shook with a deep fear, as there was the sound of very fast movement coming towards the little group of Pok�mon.
The largest of the Dogs sneared.
