| Christa and I went to Logan Martin this morning to see what was happening upriver. We ran up to Kikers and worked some grass early and only picked up 2 largemouth. One was covered in sores and released before pics were taken. We headed back down and hit some old places along the river channel. One place gave up two good Spots and a few dinks. I missed a good fish right at the boat and we left and headed on down to Cropwell. The water was clearer in the Park and with the bright skies we struggled to get bit. The water is up and down right now and the grass bite is on and off depending on what Alabama Power is doing. I believe th Spot bite downriver is coming around, you just have to find them. It's been a while since I've been to Logan Martin but you jus' gotta get on them # Fish Caught 9 Big Fish 2.5lb. Spot Best 5 7-8 lbs. |
