Hong Kong airport to Kuala Lumpur -- July 22, 99:
One of our fayenatics saw faye at the hk airport....During that time, faye was shopping at Duty Free shop.. A fayenatic was also there because she have to fly back to singapore. I tell you angela and faye gave her a heart attack! First she see angela then if you see angela then you see faye right! So she search for faye and found faye! Not many people around too and no security.. just faye and her one on one! haha
She said that faye got some tan and she is skinny.... said that Faye is really really pretty in real person. She did ask if she can take a pic with faye but angela again answers for faye and said it was not the right time ... but faye still smile to her and was nice to her. The fayenatic told faye that she and some of her friends in singapore will go to malaysia to see faye concert.. faye was happy and smiled warmly to her.. The fayenatics was kind of nervous but eventually let faye go and did not disturb faye's shopping.. hehe.. But faye so pretty she said!
Faye in Malaysia airport -- July 22, 99:
There's about 20 malaysia fayenatics that drove to the airport to see faye.. it's about 1 hour drive to the airport but for faye they are willing to drive that far! They arrive and prepare themselves with banners, flowers, and other gifts.. Fayenatics are well behaved... they know what they should do and what they should not do when faye come out.. they will not be rough and hurt faye in any way. Some even go tell other fans that are there to not hurt faye by pulling her down etc...
Then faye came out.....Faye is already walking towards them with security guards forming a circle around her. As expected, some groups of Faye fans rush at her screaming at the top of their lungs. This caused the security guards to panic and they have to rush Faye to her vehicle, resulting Faye almost falling down by all the pushing by both the guards and some fans. FayenaticsI fear for the most when they saw Faye almost falling! Luckily she smiles and wave at the fayenatics in the van.
Faye's press conference with reporters -- July 23, 99:
The press conferences was taken place at Imperial Sheraton Hotel at 12 p.m. Faye was in a good mood and welcomes everyone to ask questions, even when some asked her if DW will appear for this concert again, Faye replied relaxedly "don't think so. Now still come out for what?" This straightforward answer brought laughter & applause from the ground. M'sia fans will not be able to see all those hk family video clips anymore. Faye power is apparent, her press conference has attracted ALL English and Chinese newspapers & magazines rep to attend, even tv & radio stations also squeeze in for this conference. In addition, it reported that there's many unfamiliar faces. The huge gp of pple makes this press conference very grand indeed.
Wenkang is the compere, he asked Faye to say hello to everybody, Faye smilingly just said "Hello everyone, this is my 3rd time in M'sia". After that, she just keeps on laughing, she doesn't know what to say anymore after thinking for sometime. In the end, she just said, "I'm feeling very good today, there's nothing else to say, if you have any questions, feel free to ask me". Some asked abt her 21-Aug concert will she have any expectations? Faye said, "Expectations? I don't have any expectations & I also don't know how the audience will react. I don't want to have expectations 'cos you'll then get disappointed. I just hope I'll be very immersed in my performance, that's all".
Faye is really very straightforward & honest in her answers, she really shows her true personality & characteristic. Take this for an eg., when asked what surprises she'll bring for the M'sia fans, she replied very candidly, "I've been doing concerts in China & HK before, this time I also won't have anything special for the M'sia fans". Asked why this time she specially agreed to come to M'sia for her concert promo? Faye disagreed & said she only just got to know abt this ticket sales launch. She added, "Actually I did promo for every concerts, maybe this time the way its done is more unique".
So Faye have you started making any concert preparations? Faye is very honest in her reply, "no need to prepare or practise, I'm not the kind that will sing & dance singer. I'll try to get immerse in the music & express my feelings in & sing the song well." She stopped & think for a while, looked at Ah Foon, pat Ah Foon & laughed, "you answer for me lah", then she added, "I'll try to do my very best".
Faye said she'll sing half Cantonese & Mandarin songs in her concert. She also will not change too many costumes, prob just 3 times. Faye always give pple the impression that she's very cool & this lets the media have pressure while trying to interview her, so the reporters asked her abt this. Her reaction, "huh, this question again??? This is what the media say abt me lah, actually I'm not very cool, but if the media wants to write me like this, I also cannot do anything. I'll try to answer all questions that I can answer." The compere added "ask more questions quickly, Faye is now willing to answer all questions". Faye immediately quipped, "not answer all questions, I'll answer those that I can".
Someone posed a question that Faye is always playing around with her image. Faye doesn't agree, she said she doesn't really understand the so-called new images. She only knows pple everyday got to change clothes & they also have different image everyday, so does this mean change image? Faye added she will depend on her mood to decide what clothes she wants to wear. She continued, image is not only on the outside appearance, the inside (inner beauty) is also impt. She said though she keeps wearing different clothings but she has never changed before.
What's her music making mood now? Faye really think for a long time now. "Its a long story, cannot be explained clearly by 1 or 2 words. In my heart, I've always wanted to make my own kind of album, but this is still not possible. In life & reality, there's still many restrictions & limitations, its not I want, I will. Now the album/music I do, some I think its very good & am satisfied, some others think its good, so I think its a balancing act, its ok". Someone said that now albums have become a packaging, hard sell item. Faye replied that this problem is not only evident in HK alone, other parts of the world is the same as well. She thinks this is perfectly normal & she won't feel discouraged abt this scenario & trend. Faye added, "there's still plenty of pple around the world who's doing their own music, this is good enough".
Now someone asked a real stupid question, Faye vocal was "weak" when she had her 2 nites concert in M'sia 4 yrs ago & she also mentioned in her press conference then if there's no more questions, I'm leaving now". When Faye heard this question, she immediately shot up her big eyes & said, "now is the same, if there's no more questions, I'll leave now. What's wrong with it? If there's no more question, why should I still sit here?" On her "weak" vocals part, Faye replied straight, "I don't think so". The compere quickly tried to ease the situation, "will it be the same this time now". Faye just said, "the concert has not been held, I don't know but I hope it will not be".

Faye at Lot 10 shopping center -- July 23, 99:
Malaysia fayenatics waited for Faye from 9:30 a.m to 3:30 p.m!! It was a hot day too and they had to wait under the sun for 6 hours.. about 3000 fans was there. Around 2 p.m the DJ came out and told them Faye is on her way... they started to play games and pull some faye fans on stage to play games and sing.
Around 3:30 p.m Faye came out in a Nissan Serena and many fans already rushing to the car. Faye eventually got on the stage and waved to thousands of fans.. Faye was only on the stage for 2 to 3 minutes only.. she waved, gong a bell thing 3 times and then waved again to fans and lefted! That's all! But Fayenatics have "no regrets" right? Although only 2 to 3 minutes but still worth the wait cause long time no see Faye!

Faye leave Malaysia back to HK -- July 24, 99:
Many fayenatics waited for Faye at the hotel to see her before she leaves to the airport.. however Faye came out of the hotel from parking lots door inside of the front! Most of the fayenatics at the front ma.. so they missed Faye.. some went to airport to send faye off..
Faye arrived in HK airport and maybe reporters surround her to ask her questions.. asking if she and Zing in an arguement cause haven't seen Zing for long time.. Faye only replied "you will know later loh".. Faye did not answer much questions or talk much.. just rush out of airport into her van..
