Date: Febuary 20, 1999. At MGM Grand Arena. $150,100,75,50,35.

Thanks to Irene, Megan and other fayenatics that went to Las Vegas concert for all the information! This report will be based on my talk with Irene on the phone. I called Irene at 5:00 p.m. (LV time) and she was having dinner with Wen Chang (the guy sharing the concert with Faye). Irene know this guy very well and is hired to be his assistant. She told me that we just finished listening to Faye's rehersal which started around 3 p.m. Wen Chang had his rehersal before Faye's so that's why Irene can see Faye.. hehe.. since she have pass to go anywhere in the Arena.

Irene very very close to Faye during the rehersal..... then Irene took out a pic of Faye and walk up to Faye and ask her to sign right in front of her.. Irene said she so damn close to Faye! BUT that "stupid" angela! (that's what Irene said.. she was pissed..haha) She said that Angela push the photo anyway and said "no autograph no autograph" in mandarin.. so Faye didn't get the photo and didn't sign... Wah.. Irene was so mad at Angela that she want to go kill Angela already! hahaha.. The way Irene told me was so funny.. she keep saying bad things about Angela.. it's like Angela her big enemy now... She said that Angela always with Faye!

She said after dinner she will meet the fayenatics at the hotel and yes, she is in the same hotel as Faye... Irene also took some pics of Faye during rehersal! The pics you see are from the rehersal..Since Irene have to eat dinner.. we didn't talk long and I told her I will call her in about 1 hour later..

It's was 6:30 p.m in Las Vegas when I called her the 2nd time...In only an hour and a half, there's a lot of things that have happened already! Irene said that she met the fayenatics and then suddenly Paul comes and said that he saw Faye in the casino and her crew members also... so they all go to the casino to see Faye...haha.

They start to take pics of Faye in the Casino... Faye saw that and gave body language to cut it out.. of course in a nice way.. ahha..... so they all stop taking pics of Faye... Some of them then go up to Faye and ask for autographs.. and Faye signed for most of them.. some of them couldn't get autograph because a crew member of Faye's did not allow them to...so only some of them got it.

Also.. One of the fayenatics named Patrick had a chance to play Blackjack with Faye! He got Faye's autograph too... but he said that Faye was kind of sick that day. When playing Blackjack, he starts talking with Faye.. Patrick told Faye that he came to Las Vegas to see her concert from New York. Faye said "thank you for coming"(something like that.. hehe.) and then he said "I heard rumours that you will be going to New York next week with your dad.. is that true?"... Faye smiled and nodded which means YES.. hehe. He played only 3 games then leave Faye alone la.. don't want to disturb her too much. That's Patrick's experience.

Megan's experience you can read on her page.. the link is at the bottom of the page... she basically went up to Faye and tapped her back and asked Faye for 3 autographs! Faye agreed to sign and put "To megan" on it.. She also asked Megan "can you spell your name for me?".. and megan did and Faye sign it. Very nice la.. hehe.. Megan is non-asian if you guys didn't know that.. hehe..

It was 2:15 a.m when I called Irene for the last time. Here is the song list Irene gave me .. Bored, Chesspieces, Wishing love forever, Brink between love and pain, Dream person (with the screen of the cute hedgehog), sleep walking, Love commandment, I'm willing and I'm happy so you're happy(no video clips!! so sad!). Then she sang a new year song with Wen Chang and other crew members.. So Faye sang 10 songs and a half! hehe.. Irene actually STOLE this song list on a table at backstage.. haha. I couldn't stop laughing.. but they don't need the list anymore la..

Faye didn't talk much la.. after bored she said in mandarin "hello, how are you all? thanks for coming to the concert.. hope you happy"..Then before the last song YHSIMH, Faye told everyone to take more pics...she's hinting that it's the last song! So lots of people come up closer to take pics la..

Sad to say, Wen Chang part was longer than Faye's part! haha.. that's because Wen Chang talk so much! like go on and on... Faye just say few sentences and then shut up one.. hehe..The concert starts around 8:30 p.m and ended like 10:30 p.m. So around one hour each.. The coliseum was PACKED!! Irene had to sit on the FLOOR.. ahha.. but the floor is closer than first row man! hehe.. Most of the audiences are Faye's fans.. hehe.. as she got the loudest applause etc...

Faye only had ONE clothing all through the concert.. haha.. it was a black top with one side sleeveless.. and black pants with a short skirt thing over the pants.. just like china concert la..

During the last song... Angela came out and told a japanese crew member that it was the last song and they lefted... in Angela's hand is the card that the Fayenatics have wrote earlier.. The fayenatics gave it to Faye's crew member before the concert started.. also the Volleyball with all their signatures... so all of the gifts eventually given to Faye la.

That's all about the concert la... just that Faye came back out to sing a New Year song with Wen Chang.. and lefted immediately after the concert. Irene only saw Faye leaving for the Van..

Too bad Faye didn't attend the Celebration party after the concert..she went back to her room .. maybe because Faye's not feeling well due to her sickness. Irene found out Faye's room #(it was level 22, room 141) and wrote a letter to give Faye. She also gave her gifts at the front door of Faye's room. She didn't knock on the door cause she don't want to disturb Faye.

The letter she just simply say that there are lots of fayenatics coming to watch her from all over US and Canada... they all enjoyed her concert and she sang well.. She also wrote about the presents she is giving Faye.. Irene gave Faye a DKNY shirt, a necklace , a lucky charm that Irene got in Japan etc...

Later on Irene saw Zing and a japanese guy together.. she told him that she lefted a letter and some gifts at Faye's door and asked Zing to make sure Faye get it... Zing agreed that he will go up there and tell Faye about the presents at her door.. hehe.. That's all la..
