All informations are provided from the mailing list by two japanese fans(Yoshimi and Kenji) and from all HK newspaper. The concert lasted for 1 hour 50 minutes. She spoke only twice during the concert. The Japan stage is 3 sided with a big screen at the back to play Faye's MTVs and other clips. Click below for the song list in Japan.

After singing "Bored", Faye said in English, "Hello. I want to say something in Japanese. I hope you can understand. OK?" Then "Mina san, konbanwa. Faye Wong desu. Kyoowa hontouni doomo arigatoo. Saigo made goyukkuri." (Meaning "Hello everybody, This is Faye Wong. Thank you very much for coming tonight. I hope you'll enjoy the show until the last."

And the before the last song "I'm Willing", she suddenly made a big smile and saw the side of the stage then said, "Tsugi wa saigo no uta desu. Kyoowa hontoni doomo arigatoo." (Meaning "The next one is the last song. Thank you very much for tonight."



The Japanese audience was quite calm. Of course after every song Faye finished to sing, they applaused or shouted,"Wang Faye","Faye Wong" or "Dou wei". But once she started to sing, all of them keep silent and appreciated her song so much.

The first time Faye came out, some fans thought that Faye didn't wear any shoe.. haha.. but she wore transparent shoes made from vynil. She sang "impatience" while jumping around.. very cute one. She forgot the lyrics of "cold war".... She turned her back to audiences.... probably she wanted to retry to sing it. But afterall she continued the song with a smile. From what I heard from the newspaper.. faye said that the advantage of Japan concert is that "I can make mistakes(forget lyric) and they won't even know I made a mistake!"..(haha.. Faye's so funny!).

Faye sang "Eyes On Me" in this concert... I think Faye will get beat up if she don't sing this song in Japan.. haha.. so many people love this song ma... hehe.. The video clips of "final fantasy 8" was played on the big screen when Faye sang this song. It's kind of a promotion thing! haha.. The audiences went crazy when she sang this song!



Below is a summary of what the newspaper reported on this Japan concert:

The hedgehog caps, t-shirts, keychain, Faye's poster etc.. were sold outside the coliseum. Faye's concert attracted many popular Japanese stars.... some examples are Noriko Sakai, Takuya Kimura and Yutaka Takenouchi. Leslie Cheung(HK star) also will attend this concert since he is doing promotion in Japan. Faye and Leslie are good friends as they play mahjong all the time together.. hehe.





Most of these stars also give presents to Faye.. such as flower baskets etc... Noriko bought Faye a clothing! After Noriko finished watching the concert, she went backstage to give Faye the present. When reporter asked Faye about the clothing, Faye said "I don't know who to give it to.. it's too big for me." ... hehe.. Noriko thinks Faye is fat or what? haha.. but it was nice of her to give Faye a present..Also, the handsome Takuya Kimura gave Faye a flower basket. Reporter spread rumours that Takuya gave Faye this basket so that they can act in a movie together in the future. Pic is below. I can't believe Japanese stars giving Faye flower basket and present! Wah.. so cool!



Reporter asked "what's the differences to have concert in Japan?"...Faye(with smile) replied "at least I sing the wrong lyrics, no one will notice."..

Faye wong said that she is suprised about the song "eyes on me" being so popular because she never thought it will be in the jap-pop chat. Faye said that at the moment, she'll concentrate on her music and might be in a movie ... but she's not too interested in movies still.. She said that she will look at the scripts first and then decide on the male actor... It's not the male actor that will attract Faye to act in a movie..hehe.
