Some interests that I have include:
How to contact me.

Well I always hated these pages, as I never know just what to put into them, or how to arrange them.
Known to my Web Friends as "DickPru"
We live in the "High Desert Country", just east of the Continental Divide, on Interstate 10, just North of Old Mexico, and about the center of the state from east to west.
My interests are varied, they center around computers mostly, it seems like. But I got started in computers, in their early age. This came from part of my work in the service, and part of my interest in electronics in general. "I love gadgets!"
Although we are in the mountains, it dose not look like it, We set somewhere around 4,400 feet above sea level.

Our hometown, Deming, is also the home to "The Great American Duck Race". Click the "Home Town" button to find more on Deming.
Building Systems:
My own mostly, I have an Intranet of 3 computers at home, networked.
Helping some of my friends and family with their computers.
Computers in general!
Some Programing:
I started with BASIC, which I still like, went to Assembly, and then on to "C". I still use some of the "Quick Basic" programs I built for my satellite work.
Graphics and Video:
I have always had a love for "Paint" programs, I have tried many, some which are no longer around, except on our shelves. some were good, and other had a "lacking", but all had their use.
I used to setup Video cameras, and played with photography, and now digital cameras.
The Internet:
A place to get updates for programs.
A place to play with my "WEB Pages".
A place to keep in touch with freinds and family across the world.
Took the place of the BBS's
Games:
Some of the now "Infamous" shooters like "Doom II", "Duke Nukem 3D" and others. I like to find the "Secrets" in them.
Communications:
Radio, Satellite, and TV.
Radio:
Radio was "The thing" when I was growing up, TV came along later. We all listened to the "Shows" and I still like what is called "Nostalgia" radio.
Then I got into "HAM Radio" and liked to work the low power contacts and some of the first "Ham Sats" that were sent up. I later went with the "11 meter band" into what is called "CB".
Satellite and TV:
From the Ham days, We tried "Slow Scan TV". I still have one of the old 40 pound cameras around here.
Later as TV went to the Satellites, we had our hand in that, from installer to system seller. We now have the small dish system, but we still use one of the large dish systems also.
