PFFL 2006 Rules...

Participation is 35 dollars for those who are at their first draft and 30 �huards� for others. (**purses based on 14 entries**) All participants must identify themselves to a NFL franchise or from NFL Europe or whatever. #4- The purses are as follow: Champion: 230 Runner-Up: 110 Third Place: 50 #5- The scoring is the legendary "Dick Butkus Scoring Method" always improving from year to year. The points for weekly scores will be those of your starters only. Also, the players are only given points for the unit they're starting for: offense, defense or special teams. #6- A lottery will be held prior to the draft to determine the draft order. The order levels are flopped for each round. No matter, the first round of the bench players will start with guy who picked 20th initially. This lottery is supervised by the Butkus & Papa Bear law firm. #7- Teams have a maximum of 90 seconds per pick with 1 T-O of 60 sec. After that, your pick is put at the end of the round. However for bench players, the maximum falls to 60 sec per pick without any timeouts available! #8- You must pick the players at the positions they are on the draft lists. If you want somebody else, the position must be previously approved by the Commish. #11- You can move all the players you want between the end of Monday Night Football and the kickoff of the first game of the week. Watch yourself when there's Thursday game (like this year�s Opener) because even if you don't have any players involved in that game, you won't be allowed to move players after that deadline. Also, you must move back yourself the players you had benched for their bye week (I don't!). #12- You can trade as many players as you wish with any other team, but you will always have to fill your roster with the correct amount of players at each position. Also, the Commish can veto any deal if judged too lopsided. The trading deadline is after Week 14. Don�t be afraid to call someone else to deal with him, it can only help your ranking! #13- The Commish can't be bribed by any mean!!! Don't even try!! #14- You can waive a player and claim free agents after week 4 and week 8. The current standings are flopped for the waiver positions. You must prepare your list of draftable players, because such list won't be made available. However, you would have at your disposition the Master List telling you �who has who or not� in either draft. Your list must be sent by Tuesday night at 23H59, Qc time of course! #15- The winners will be determine by the cumulative scores of your teams at the end of the season with the bonuses added on (check the dick butkus scoring to see the bonus).
