Third Rehersal was Jarrods first band (with other people, that is), they were a alternative rock band. They were together for around 6 mounths and played 3 shows. The first show was a battle of the bands, were the boys only played 2 songs, "there's nothing" and a cover of Nirvana's "smells like teen spirt" and it cost them $15 to enter.
The second show they did, they played 8 song's (i think) over around half an hour.They played "cords" "there's nothing", "when i come around" (green day) "waiting", "about a girl" (nirvana) "not real romantic", "gone away"(offspring) and the crowd favourite "chicks cant give good wristy's". They played with Avacardo and Under The Influence, and got payed $100.
The last show they played was at an arts and crafts fessible. Cheese & Biscuts did the surport for them. Then Third Rehersal got up and played for almost 2 hours, (a lot songs were played 3 times) The crowd seemed to enjoy it, but the band felt they played "really fucking shit" as they had not rehearsed for over a mounth. After TR had finished, Sam (Avacardo) and Jake (Paper Wars) got up and played a few songs with Kyle. After that, Bent Elbo (Joel & Kyle's new band), got up to play one last song called "custed" to close the night. |
