Aquarium Setup
|
Parachromis managuensis is a
large C.A. cichlid and must be provided with large
tanks with no plants. Caves are necessary for the
Jaguar Cichlids to establish its territories and
breeding area. This fish is a digger and like to move
gravels so powerful (mechanical) filtration is essential.

Feeding
|
P. managuensis is a large
predatory cichlid. Adult Jaguar Cichlid might only
feeds mainly on small live fish. This can be
expensive and might introduce disease. Practicing
to feed this fish prepared food such as cichlid
pellets and beefhearts while still young might prevent
this fish from being picky.
