Aquarium Care
Aquarium Setup
Guppy like a well planted tank that will also provide
hiding places for newly born fry. This fish is very
easy to keep. Sponge filtration will suffice.
Feeding
Guppy is omnivorous and easy to feed. This fish will
readily take in live foods such as worms, small
insects, larvae and plant matter. Prepared foods
such as spirulina flakes, small pellets and dried
worms will also be taken.

Compatibility
Guppy, being a peaceful fish, is a good addition to a
community of small fishes. But it is preferable to
keep one male for every 3 females. This is to lessen
the harassment females will take from a ever-courting
male. Fin-nippers should also be avoided.
