The Electric Yellow is a small cichlid that lives
rocky enviroment. Aquarium with plenty of rocks will
provide the Electric Yellow territory and hiding
place. Frequent partial water change will be
beneficial.

Feeding
|
Yellow Lab is omnivorous, but mainly feeds on
plant-based food. This fish will eat peas, lettuce
and algae. Yellow Lab will also eat spirulina flakes
and pellets. Brine shrimps and zooplanktons will also
be accepted. It is best to feed Yellow Lab several
small meal than one large meal.

Compatibility
|
Yellow Lab is one of the least aggressive, if not
peaceful, mbuna. This fish is a great addition to a
Lake Malawi community tank with similar temperament
cichlids.
