rocks forming caves.

Feeding

A. octofasciatus is an
omnivore that eats wide variety of foods. This fish
will take live food such as small fish, crusteceans,
worms, insect, fruits, seeds and peas. This fish
will also take in repared food such as pellets,
sticks, dried worms and beef hearts.

Compatibility
|
Sociable when young, the Jack Dempsey will grow
aggressive. But not always. Jack Dempsey can grow
less aggressive and be okay for community tank of
cichlids.
