I hope you enjoy what you read or think about them!  Poetry is a written art form that is understood by many and can be written by anyone.  To me poetry is anything written from the heart!

Up above

Leap up and touch the shining stars.
Your acoustic visions
Fill my mind so softly
Let the icy air, glide on by
Look up to the sky
Though the clouds
to the aligning stars.
Listen to the harmonic chimes
That wave so lightly and ring in my heart
Bring me that light that so brightens those stars
To outcast the shadow that plague my future.

Hear the music, open your heart.

If you don't hear the music,
open your ears.
If you chose not to listen, look though the window.
If there is no window present,
Step outside into the light.
If the light is too bright,
Cover your eyes.
If you cover your eyes,
Then don't close your heart.

The One I Love

I did not know I loved you
Until I was struck with a different view
Look at what you have done to me
Oh can't you see?
You have taken my heart
And pulled it apart
But put it back together
With pieces of you in it forever.

I have grown to love your beautiful face
Even though you seem to be in a distant place.
My heart holds the lock and you with the key.
When we finally meet, you will see
From the earth to the moon, sun and the stars
this universe shall only be ours.
To cherish and to love and always be true
The love I hold goes to you

We will embrace in each others arms
And kiss so sweetly, as to cause no harm
Then watch the sun set in motionless rest
For we know, our love is the best
M love for you will never die
So open our wings and away we fly
To the clouds, the sky, all up above
You are the boy, my only love.
