Oh, Katie, one submissive ball of energy with an attitude! As spunky as they come, my Jack Russell in a corgi-suit (with raccoon tendencies when it comes to dunking her tennis ball in the water bowl), has informed the four cats who the boss of the house is ... and it's none of them, and it's not me! Yet, let another dog approach, and she rolls over submissively. |
| The Corgi Legend How did the corgis come to southwestern Wales? Well, legend has it that two small children found a pair of puppies, which they thought were foxes. When they took the pups home, they were told the pups were a gift from the fairies ... these "wee folk" used the dogs to pull their carriages. Should you doubt this legend, look for the saddle mark across their wee little shoulders. See, I told you they are enchanted. |
