| Well, at least my favorite cats (i.e., Russ has no favorite cats). These cats are trained to the invisible fence! It works better for cats than it does for dogs ... but the training is a real joy (ever try to hold onto a cat when it knows you are about to shock it?). Dad always did call be a katze mutter (German for Cat's Mother)! All of these fur babies are foundlings, so I guess Dad was right. |

What do you think it is? |
| Miss Kitty
arrived at our home in 1988, shortly after we got Roxie. I found her in the parking lot of
a department store, so starved for food she couldn't even focus on my hands. I
whisked her home and called the emergency vet clinic. They advised me to feed her
with an eye dropper using a warmed liquid of 1C Milk, 1 TBSP Kayro Syrup, and 1 Egg
Yoke. I did not expect her to survive, but she did! and now she's the household
grump. Mr. Mitts & Mitsy arrived in 1997. I found them along a country road watching the cars go by at 40 mph. When I stopped the car they came running (obviously knowing a good thing), and my car was instantly filled with purring! Boogie-kitten arrived in 1999. He had taken up residence by my bird feeders, but would not come to me. So every day around 7 p.m. I'd take him a bowl of food ... and, eventually, every day at 7 p.m. he'd be waiting for me. It took me 3 weeks to talk him into trusting me, and he's still not too sure about Russ. While the other cats "love" me, this little boy is "in love" with me ... sits on my lap purring and gazing up into my eyes. Oh, and he also likes to give nose nips.
