The Norway, formally known as the SS France, is a large ship built sometime after World War II. It really had some strange rooms -- ours was a broom closet! I would have to tell Russ to get in his cot so I could get to the bathroom; and we both had to sit on my cot to watch TV. It was a long and narrow room. But Steve and Elaine got the best room, oh yeah! the kitchen was right above them so they got to listen to the kitchen activity all evening. Regardless, we had a great time (as always, when friends are together). But would we take the Norway again? No. But there were a lot of people on the cruise who loved the Norway for its country western cruise theme (i.e., there were a lot of repeat cruisers on the Norway in full western gear). |
