Tinig Pinoy's "Operation Tulong sa Quezon"

Diario Filipino No. 28/Dec 2004

Tinig Pinoy launched during its Saturday radio programme the call for the community to help out our unfortunate brothers and sisters in the Philippines who were victims of the recent flooding in the Quezon province.

The Quezon province was hit hard and devastated with the typhoons that came one after the other last week that left poor families, whose houses are still underwater and left with very scarce basic needs to fend for their whole families.

Tinig Pinoy together with the other community groups and concerned individuals who has sincere intentions to support this worthy cause calls upon our Filipino community here in New Zealand to heed this appeal for help to benefit these flood victims. Donations in cash and in kind will be greatly accepted and appreciated especially at this time of the year of giving and sharing. You can drop all your donations at the Good Shepherd Church and also the Tres Marias Trading Ltd shop in 52 Queens Rd, Panmure. For further info you can ring Sr Felisa Libo-on or Kookie at 570-8981 or 570-8986.
