White Sands National Monument is one of the most interesting spots in southern New Mexico.
And they are fun. With the right equipment you can slide down the dunes just like they were snow. Unfortunately we didn't have the right equipment.
But nothing can stop creative kids. If they couldn't slide they would just roll down the dunes.
Rolling, however, proved a lot more tiring.
