The Snowy Mountain Inn is in Greer AZ, in the White Mountains about 250 miles northeast of Phoenix. Greer is at about 8,000 ft. elevation so it's 20 or 30 degrees cooler than it is in Phoenix. It's a great place to go in the Summer. We took all our Grandkids, CJ, Courtney, and Taylor with us and met Ric, (who drove in from Albuquerque), up there. Greer is about half way between Phoenix and Albuquerque. Two of Ric's friends also came up from Phoenix and spent a night with us. We rented a cabin that had room to sleep 8 so there was pleanty of space for all of us. There is a catch and release trout lake on the property and paddle boats that anyone could use.
The cabins each had their own covered hot tub, gas grill, and picnic table.
Our cabin had a livingroom with satalite TV and convertable couch, kitchen, bath, two bedrooms with double beds, and a loft with a Queen bed and futon.
Courtney and Taylor had a great time together.
CJ and Taylor had fun too, resting.
Everybody enjoyed the hot tub.
Even the big kids.
The lodge was just across the street from our cabin. On weekends they open their restaurant and bar.
It also had a play room for kids that Taylor really enjoyed.
The owners had a huge dog that Taylor loved even though it was bigger than her.
