Ourchestra
By Shel Silverstein

So you havent got a drum, just beat your belly.
So I havent got a hornIll play my nose.
So we havent any cymbals
Well just slap our hands together,
And though there my be orchestras
That sound a little better
With their fancy shiny instruments
That cost an awful lot
Hey, were making music twice as good
By playing what weve got!

Extension:  Read the poem together again and then have students march around the room using their new instruments- their bellys, nose, and hands.
