Light and Phobe moved to Liberty Co, GA about 1793. Light s erved as a Private in Captain John Winns Company Infantr y 2 Georgia Militia in War of 1812. Moved family and slave s to Jefferson Co, Fla and deeded land near Newmansville, i n 1828. Living there when 7 years War with Seminole Indian s began 1835-1842. Member of 1st Regiment Fla Mounted Milit ia then into - US Service. After Phoebe died moved to Hern ando County to be near Captain John Jack and daughters. Die d there.
