Followed Nancy and father Light to Florida lived near Talla hassee then Alachua County during 2nd Seminole War. Raise d Company Mounted Volunteers and elected Captain 2-1840. I n 1849 living Benton - Hernando County and elected Cty Comm issioner in 1849-1852, 1857, 1863. In Benton Nancy and hi m built log home and moved to Hancock Lake 1865 in order t o be near daughter.
