| This is Bo. Bo was dumped down an unpopulated rural road. Luckily he wandered into the yard of an acquaintance of an AAWS member, Pat. Pat took him in. Pictures were posted at the local Driver's License Department with another AAWS member and in 5 days Bo was adopted into a loving home. He recently visited Pat. She tells us that he was growing and was sporting a nice new sweater provided by his new forever parents.
Sadly, Bo was killed a few days ago after he dug his way out of his fenced yard. |

| We were 6 weeks old when someone left us on a caring person's porch but inspite of all the love and care we received, none of us could live. Please, please, make sure to give your pets all the shots they should have, especially when they are pregnant. |

| Belle was a spunky Mama dog who was dumped, pregnant, in the woods. Despite her starving condition she continued to nurse her healthy puppies. A rescue group was contacted and she was fostered and then taken into the shelter. Belle was lucky, she had two foster Moms who loved her..one that fostered her and her puppies and one that took her in to try and save her life. Belle lived her last days sleeping on sofas, playing with toys and getting a lot of love. Just as she was getting healthy enough to receive heartworm treatment, she became very ill and passed away. |
