Dear Parents,
The second week
in October is National Fire Prevention Week. On Tuesday, October
8th we are planning a first grade field trip to the Tri-City
Fire Department on Orchard Lake Road. The children will tour
the fire station, learn about fire safety and explore a real
fire engine.
This will be a
walking field trip (weather permitting) and is scheduled for
9:30 a.m. We will be leaving the school at 9:15 and will be back
in time for lunch.
If you would like
to chaperone this trip please fill out the bottom portion of
this form and return it as soon as possible. We also ask that
you be available to drive should the weather not cooperate. Please
note that younger siblings are not allowed on this trip.
Our trip to the
Fire Station promises to be a fun and educational experience
for your child.
