Farm Field Trip This Week!

Dear Parents,

The children are very excited about our field trip to Upland Hills Farm on Thursday. Our day will include farmer demonstrations, a hayride and a visit to the pumpkin patch. Please remember to dress your child in casual clothes and pack a disposable sack lunch. Chaperones should meet outside our classroom no later than 8:30 a.m.

Don't forget to check out our class website early next week for pictures of our trip. Our website address is:

Our second field trip is right around the corner--literally. On Friday, October 10th, we will visit the WB Fire Department, Station #9 on Orchard Lake Rd. This will be a walking field trip (weather permitting) and best of all, it's free! Attached are the details of our trip and a permission slip.

We are enjoying our fall activities. So far we've learned about Johnny Appleseed and apples. During October we'll explore leaves, pumpkins and scarecrows. We'll also learn about Christopher Columbus.

Don't forget, this Friday is a half-day!

Have a Great Week!

Ms. Kopilchack
