It's That Time of Year!

Dear Parents,

What a busy time of year! Besides our usual studies, we are busy preparing our minds and hearts for the coming of Jesus. We are also having fun with Christmas projects and learning Christmas Carols.

This year the first graders with "go caroling" through the halls of OLR followed by a Christmas Party complete with crafts and treats. We are hoping to secure Father Bartol Hall for this special event.

Our party moms are busy planning for our party. They may be contacting you to donate treats or your time. Please stay tuned.

The children really enjoyed shopping at Santa's Secret Shop last week. It was so nice to see them put so much thought into their selections. A special thanks to the moms who provided after-shopping treats!

We also had a great time seeing The Wizard of Oz last Friday. That afternoon we drew pictures of our favorite scenes from the play.

Because Christmas break is fast approaching, I need to get our Scholastic Book orders in A.S.A.P. Please have all orders in by Wednesday, December 10th.

Have a great week!

Ms. Kopilchack
