Report Cards and Conferences This week

Dear Parents,

We had a great time last week honoring the Saints of the Catholic Church. I was impressed that so many of the children knew something about the Saint they were dressed as. The children were adorable parading through the church in their costumes. Our eighth-grade buddies attended mass and visited with us on Wednesday and we had our class celebration on Friday. A big THANKS to our party moms! We had lots of fun!

Report cards are sent home today. Please check your child's Daily Folder as soon as s/he arrives home from school.

I trust that you all received confirmation of your scheduled conference time. Please make every effort to be on time as our time together is limited. I look forward to meeting with you all!

Our Scholastic Book Fair begins this week and will be open during conferences. Please take some time to visit the library where you'll find great deals on books for all reading levels. The children will visit the fair next Monday, Nov. 10th. If your child will be purchasing books, please send money in an envelope clearly marked with your child's name and the amount of money your child is allowed to spend.

Because of the book fair, we will not have library for the next two weeks. All library books should have been turned in today. If your child has a library book at home, please return it tomorrow.

Also, the library is sponsoring a coloring contest (see attached). There's no entry fee involved and there will be a winner from each classroom. Please make sure your child's

name, grade and room number are on the back.

Have a great week!

See you at conference
