| We headed to Edinburgh in the midst of the vivacious and fantastic Fringe Festival when the streets were alive with performers and free tickets to countless shows (we saw 5 free shows - and most of them were good!). On our first night in this great city we went to the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, saw military bands from all over the world (below), a haunting rendition of the Last Post as the mist rolled in (below right) and the fantastic Swiss drummers doing all kinds of things with their sticks (ahem!... below) |
