The Fairy Stories
The Story of Rosebud
Rosebud, our cute little fairy friend. It all
started 7 years ago...
Rosebud was in her mother's tummy where she was magically
transformed into a fairy. Her mother decided to name her Rosebud,
because every time she was around roses, she could feel Rosebud
move inside of her all nice, warm and comfortable. When Rosebud was
finally born, she was as cute as a button, and she did everything she
could to start earning her wings. Her favourite game was to pretend
she had her wings and try to fly off of small rocks and stones. Things
she could safely jump off of without getting hurt. Rosebud would spend
countless hours staring at the clouds, dreaming about the first thing
she would do after she got her wings. Would she go and play flying tag
with her friends, Lavender, Ivy and Spirit? Or would she go and make
a special visit to Queen Periwinkle to show off her beautiful new
wings? Whatever she decided to do, she knew she would have a lot of
fun doing it. The day she got her wings was the day she had always
dreamed about. As she thought about it, she remembered that it was
only a few weeks until she finds out if she has earned her wings. She
forgot to tell her mother about the ceremony after the last
Brimbleberry Fairy meeting, so she went to go and let her know.
The Story of Lavender
Lavender was born a very long time ago. Her parents Carol and Tim came to be through the mystical magic of the great and wonderful Queen Periwinkle. When the moon was full and blue the Queen used her magic in hopes of making them into Fairies. Everything seemed to be going as planned but things went bad. I mean real bad. The Evil Wizard had spies that informed him of the ceremony that was about to take place. On the night of the ceremony the Wizard was hiding in the dark. He too had a very special spell he wanted to use. As the Queen was using her magic the Wizard cast his spell. All the female Fireflies turned into Fairies and all the males disappeared. They were never seen again but it has been told that they all turned into evil toads. If you ever see a toad never ever touch them. They spread illness and bad luck to all they encounter. Lavender was left too be raised by her loving and caring mother. She never new her father and never went near toads. Lavenders mother taught her how to meditate the way she use to with her father. This came in handy when she prepared herself for the great war. It would help her to focus all her strength and energy. She also inherited magic fairy dust from her parents. This dust is only produce during the full moon while Queen Periwinkle performs her Firefly to Fairy ceremony. Lavender discovered that by sprinkling a little fairy dust into polluted water it would become fresh again. She is always looking for ways to care for the environment she lives in. Lavender has fallen behind in her care for the environment. Her time is limited since there is much to do in preparing for her wings and for her part in the war. May the final battle be near so she can may put all her effort towards caring for the environment.
The Story of Spirit
Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, an enchanted Monkey Plant was hatching an magical creature. It was a time of freedom, peace and love; so, her parents (the monkey plant and a brownie) named her Spirit before she was actually hatched. However, on the day that she was hatched, her father laid eyes on Spirit and was immediately revolted (what do you expect from the mating of a monkey plant and a brownie!). The brownie’s disgust festered in him. His anger and revulsion changed him into an evil creature and he grew taller than any other brownie. He was as tall as a human. The sight of this newly hatched creature had ultimately turned him into the Evil Wizard. He wreaked havoc all over the land. Years went by, and as Spirit grew, she decided to become a fairy so that she can get him back to a loving, caring, and brownie self again. She had joined up with Queen Periwinkle’s (young as she may look and wiser than the wisest creature in the land) troop of fairy trainees. She concentrated all her efforts in hope of turning her father. Try as she might, Spirit used all her magic spells on him when no one was looking. But no one knows if those spells really affected him yet. She has yet to succeed. However, one day, there is to be a great war that Queen Periwinkle initiated against the Evil Wizard. With the help of her fellow fairy trainees, and with the magic power that Mother Nature will bestowed upon them, they will fight for what will seemed like hours, days, or even years (but it will only be a few minutes). The result of this war has yet to be determined. As you read this story, put all your thoughts, hopes and wishes towards the power to overcome the Evil Wizard. And maybe, just maybe, we can have freedom, peace and love in our wonderful land again.
The Story of Ivy
Ivy has been around for a very, very, very long time. Her mother is Mother Nature and her sister is Queen Periwinkle. Queen Periwinkle is the eldest of Mother Nature’s daughters. When they were growing up everyone could tell that Mother Nature favored one daughter more than the other. This daughter of course was Ivy. When ever the children misbehaved is was Queen Periwinkle that would be punished. Ivy would always get anything she wanted. She truly lived a life of leisure. One day the Queen of the Fairies had been murdered by an Evil Wizard. This now left Mother Nature with a very important decision to make. Who was going to be the new Queen? She was sooooo attached to Ivy that she could not bare for her to go away. This left her with no other choice but to make Periwinkle the new Queen of the Fairies. Ivy was so very excited that she was staying. She new that one day the time would come when she would take Mother Natures place and rule over everyone and everything. Time kept passing as it always does in her family for they all live on forever unless evil interferes with their life. She missed her sister and the fun they had. She decided that until her time came to replace Mother Nature that she wanted to have wings and become a Fairy. So she visited her sister Queen Periwinkle and talked to her about wanting to be a Fairy. The Queen told her that if she brought her a Car-du (coffee) then she would permit training to begin. Ivy brought the Queen a Car-du and so her training began.
Periwinkle
Periwinkle has been around for a very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very long time. (I stopped typing very because I wanted to be kind) She’s about 1000 years old in human time but in Fairy time she’s only 40 years old. Let’s stop talking about how old she is and lets get with my story. Her mother is Mother Nature and her sister is Ivy The Wonderful. When growing up she would always get in trouble for things her sister Ivy did wrong. She loved her sister very much but this made her sad. Her very best friend that she hung out with was the Tooth Fairy. They were friends for a very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very long time. This makes them about the same age. Father Time liked Periwinkle more than he liked Ivy. So when Father Time was around it was Periwinkle that hr favored. It was Father Time that insisted that Periwinkle became Queen of the Fairies. It was then that she learned of evil and of what it could do. This made her sad because the one she loved was evil. She decided that if she could not have him she would have no other. The problem with this was that she wanted children so she used magic to make her own that are now know as Fireflies. Her favorite Firefly was called Pooky who became the first Fairy under her rule. One day the Evil Wizard came and cast an evil spell turning her favorite Fairy Pooky into a dog. This made her sad but at least she could still communicate with Pooky telepathically. Over the years she created her own army of Fairies. Their names were Spirit, Rosebud, Lavender and Ivy. Her plan was to go to war with the Evil Wizard in hopes of ridding evil forever. Pray that we will succeed so that the Queen can be with her love again. LOL
