CHAMPAIGN COUNTY BOOT KICKERS
Debbie and I have been
the instructors for Champaign County Boot Kickers for the last 9 years.
We have retired from teaching.
We have done demos, benifits and charities. On Labor Day we had a dance
for MDA. In 1994 we danced from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am. Really had a good time
and raised quite a bit of money. In 1995 we didn't dance all night,
just from 6:00 pm to midnight. In 1996 was the largest one yet, we raised
$3855.
At the 1995 convention we won 1st place in Exhibition
Competition, 4th in Line Dance and several individuals placed in other
competition.
At the 1996 convention we won 2nd place in the
Exhibition Competition, 3rd in the Line Dance Competition and several
individuals placed in other competition.
At the 1997 convention we placed 3rd in the Show Dance
Competition, Marlin & Connie placed 1st in the Two Step over 2 years, and Troy and Joanne placed 1st in the Two
Step under 2 years. The picture below is the 1997
Show Dance team.
It's a great group. My wife and I were proud to be their instructors
