Hey, I've got opinions too.
Topic #1: Political-ness
Politics are a huge thing in American society. Most people feel the need to label themselves as a specific person with specific thoughts on everything. And of course, I followed suit and labeled myself a Democrat.
When I thought of this topic, I had California's Recall Election in mind. Personally, I think Gray Davis is a horrible person and that he should be replaced. Period. However, the recall election is giving California a bad wrap. Lets see, we have the owner of Hustler running, a porn star, and over 100 others who stand little chance or making it in the political world with the little amount of previous knowledge of it. I do congradulate Schwarzenegger for trying to get in on the action and make a difference, but he too has almost no political experience (despite being married to a Kennedy) and he has yet to tell us of his stance on many major political issues. Although he is smart, I do not think he is the right person for the job (and not just because he is a Republican and I see myself as a Democrat). Furthermore, I think that he would be better off if he gained more political experience in positions not so far up in American society, and then he ran for a position as big as one like the governor of California.
