Corpus Canada extends its sympathy to Tom Hassett and his wife Joan, residents of Victoria, on the tragic death of their youngest son, Liam, who died in a swimming accident on 16 July at Trenton, Ontario. Liam had been accepted as a pilot in the Canadian Forces and had begun his university education at the Royal Military College in Kingston, Ontario. A funeral mass was celebrated at Queen of Peace church in Victoria on 21 July. Our prayers are with you, Tom, Joan and family.
