Thank you, O Lord, for John Paul 2

He has done what he had to do.

He is pious and truly honest.

The Gospel now is surely manifest

To all, including communist.
 

But now we need a Peter 2

Who has a wife like Peter too,

A woman as in Proverbs true.
 

The Song of Songs will fuel their love,

Draw them closer to Thee above.

They'll have children, choice of passion,

Who radiate Thy compassion,

Because they've learned to love themselves

Through mirrored love of parents' selves.
 

Model us a covenant union

Two in one in full communion:

Flesh, spirit, mind, emotion,

An echo of Godde’s Genesis bliss

For all who accept the Creator's kiss.
 

So those who stumble on the road

And carry guilt to overload

Might shed their burdens and feel free

To journey on to intimacy

With self, with lover and with Thee.
 

And thus the Kingdom Jesus preached,

The entire planet will have reached,

Embracing all in Light and Love

According to the Spirit Dove.
