Solid.
The only way to describe James and his approach to the
game. In March of 1999 the D-backs searched for a new
catcher at the NABA tryouts. James was drafted and
within a very short time has become the only starting
catcher for the team. He has the ability to throw any
runner out either caught stealing or leading, which he
has done many times. He has impressed the team without
question maintaining the role of starting catcher but
his offense is just as damaging. He maintains either the
4 or 5 hole spot in the lineup, never misses a game, and
is one of the most respected players on the team.
