[Sesshomaru's mind begins to wander about the future of young Rin...]
[Author's Note: In the story, Sesshomaru is wearing a kimono. But don't worry I didn't make him a 'drag' youkai. It's a men's kimono. And of course the kimonos Rin wears in the story are female kimonos...]
"Lord Sesshomaru, why were you watching the lady youkai in the hot springs today?" Rin asked, her eyes wide & her mouth forming a smile. "Is she someone you know?"
"Rin mind your own business!" Jaken snapped at her, making her frown. "You should not be sticking your human nose where it does not belong! How dare you try to dig into Lord Sesshomaru's thoughts?!"
"But Master Jaken, I was only asking Lord Sesshomaru a question."
"And Lord Sesshomaru does not seem to be answering you, does he? Whiny little brat, if I could, I would dispose of you & Lord Sesshomaru would never even notice you were missing!"
By now Jaken & Rin had stopped walking & were facing each other while Sesshomaru had stopped walking shortly after them, waiting for them to catch up. -How long will it take them to realize I am still here?- He thought. Although, he did not feel like waiting around to find out how long. "Jaken, I would notice the absence of Rin, because her scent would be gone. I have grown used to having her human scent blended with our own," he said, loud enough for the imp to hear him. "And Rin has right to ask questions. But that does not mean I will answer them. Now, let's continue moving." Leaving it at that, Sesshomaru continue walking, listening as Rin & Jaken's footsteps were soon with his as the small threesome made their way to Sesshomaru's castle that he inherited from his late father, the great Inutaishou.
"Lord Sesshomaru, are you mad at me?" Rin asked quietly as she looked up at her master.
"No, Rin, I am not mad at you," Sesshomaru replied, not looking back at the child. "But I am annoyed that you & Jaken delayed further travel over a stupid bicker. Do not do it again or I will be forced to eliminate the delays. Understood Rin?"
"Yes, my Lord," Rin said with a smile that Sesshomaru was able to hear in her voice. "When we return to the castle, can I make you another crown of flowers? The one I made you yesterday has wilted & has been blown away by the winds."
"I will think about it Rin, but do not think this means I will say yes. Understood?"
"Yes, my Lord."
"Good."

Once the threesome had returned to the great castle of the Western Lands, Sesshomaru ordered a hot bath drawn by Jaken & soon found himself stretched out in a small pool of steaming hot water. The heat of the water was helping to loosen his tense muscles, but he was being safe not to let his guard down, in case someone should attempt to attack the castle. But other than that, he relaxed into the water, letting his body slide down into the pool until the water was under the tip of his nose.
He exhaled a sigh through his nose & closed his eyes, trying to rid his mind of everything on it. Lately, there were so many things he had on his mind & it seemed they just were not going to go away unless he thought them through. One of the things that was bothering him the most, was how Rin was now almost a completely grown woman & would need to find a village with humans to live in so she could have a normal life.
It was at the time in her life where she should be finding a life mate, not serving a great youkai Lord as himself. She would need to worry about providing this future mate with pups & being a good mate to this male she would choose. She still had a life to make for herself & here she was, in his castle, far away from any human contacts.
-How can I let her go without her following me back to the castle?- He pondered. -I suppose I will have to move her to the village while she is sound asleep so she won't know where she is or how to get back here...- He slid under the water, getting the rest of his hair wet & came back up, not bothering to wipe the water from his face. -And unfortunately, though I wish to avoid this, I need to start looking for a mate myself... I need an heir to help keep these Western Lands, should anything happen.-
"You may not join the Lord in his bath!" Jaken snapped outside the doors of the bathing room.
"I wanna hear it from Lord Sesshomaru himself Master Jaken!" Rin shouted in response. "You're mean & say no to everyone about everything! Now move so I can ask Lord Sesshomaru myself!"
Sesshomaru heard the squabbling continue & soon grew tired of it. He rose from the pool of hot water, wrapping his tail around his lower torso to cover his male organ & tail area before he went to the door & pushed it aside, looking at the two that were fighting each other in a small fight on the floor. "Jaken, Rin." The two looked up at him & quickly scrabbled to their feet, standing at attention in front of him. "Jaken, from now on, when Rin wants to ask me something, she has permission to. It is only when you have been told to stop her from being around me that you are to do so. Rin, you may bathe with me if you think you can handle the heat of the water."
"Thank you my Lord!" Rin smiled as she ran into the bathing room & awaited her Lord.
"Jaken, go. Only return if I should call you."
"Yes, my Lord!" Jaken nodded multiple times before leaving his master's sight.
Sesshomaru turned into the bathing room, letting the door fall into place, & turned around to see Rin in the pool, in the corner to give him room. He could see that she had clearly taken the time of her master talking to Jaken, to undress herself & get into the water. "Is it too hot for you Rin?" He asked as he walked back to the pool & let himself slowly slide in until the water was at his chin, making sure to keep his tail covering his private parts. His legs were bent up & slightly spread for comfort.
"No Lord Sesshomaru, the water is just fine," Rin answered, smiling at him.
-She has grown so much in the years of serving me,- he thought to himself. -Her breasts have formed & her hips have widened with her growing body, giving her the curves of a perfect human woman. Her hair has grown to her lower region & she no longer wears some of her hair off to the side of her head.- He closed his eyes so not to be caught staring at the young woman. -Finding a village where she will be accepted will not be a task, but finding one without men who should have been brought into this world as swine, will not be as easy. This causes them fear for future mates that might turn them down once they find out the woman has had her barrier taken away.-
"Lord Sesshomaru," Rin's voice brought him from his thoughts, & he opened his eyes to look at her. "What are you in deep thought about?"
"Rin, I think we should have a talk."
"Yes, my Lord, I agree. Because I have something I wish to talk to you about."
"In that case, you may go first Rin."
Rin nodded a thank you for him letting her talk first. "My Lord, I am old enough to where I need to find a companion for the rest of my life. But I do not wish to leave your services my Lord."
"Go on."
"Do you remember, the night when I was little, I was in a wide field & I thought I was alone... I made a wish. I said that I wanted to be with you forever. Do you remember that night?" Sesshomaru nodded. "It wasn't until after I made the wish that I could feel your presence. I knew you were there, watching me, ready to protect me, should anything happen. So I know you heard me make that wish. When I made that wish, I was serious my Lord. I wish to be with you forever because I know that you will never hurt me. You have been good to me all these years & it would hurt me inside to have to leave your services."
Sesshomaru's nose caught the smell of salt & he looked at Rin's eyes to see that tears glistened there. -She is frightened to leave...-
"Lord Sesshomaru, please let me stay as your servant until my dying days. Please?"
"Rin. Why do you cry? Are you frightened to leave this castle?"
"Yes, my Lord. I know my safest place to be is with you. Over the years I have grown to like your company & being by your side. I would even like to be your mate Lord Sesshomaru, but I know you do not like humans because of you great father. I know I would only have a chance with you if I were youkai myself."
"If you know I do not like humans, then why is it you have stayed with me all this time Rin?"
"Because you have not dismissed me. It would be wrong of me to leave my Lord's services if he hasn't told me to leave yet."
Sesshomaru stared at her, not knowing what to say or ask. Rin was willing to be his mate, but she knew she did not have a chance, & she still stuck with him because he had not told her to leave him. -This child has me intrigued... She is devoted me, as if I were her mate, but she knows she can never have me... Most human women would be bitter by now, ready to seduce to get their way, but she has herself controlled.-
"Lord Sesshomaru, may I please stay under your services?"
"If it is what you wish Rin, but from now on, you may leave when you feel you are ready."
Rin nodded. "Yes, Lord Sesshomaru." She uncovered her breasts & slid under the water, wetting the rest of her body by the heated pool.
This gave Sesshomaru a full view of Rin's body, & he found himself wanting to see her out of the water, curious of what a still young female human body looks like when it was naked. He had never seen the naked body of a human female, only that of a naked demoness. Sesshomaru watched as she pushed herself back up from the bottom of the water & wiped water from her face & eyes. She smiled at him & he looked at his reflection in the water, staring at the markings on his face that he got from his bloodline.
"Lord Sesshomaru, are you thinking of something else? Did not you have something you wanted to talk about as well?"
"Yes, Rin..."
"What is it my Lord?"
"I have a request, & this is the only one in your time under my services that you can turn down if you do not like what the request is."
"What is it Lord Sesshomaru?"
"I have never seen the bare body of a human woman, only demon females... Over time I have grown curious as to what the woman's body would look like. The request is that you show me your body." Sesshomaru saw the look on Rin's face & was slightly amazed that she did not show fear or disgust, but willingness. "Would you Rin?"
"Yes, Lord Sesshomaru!" Rin smiled & slowly, so not to fall, rose from the water, causing beads of water to slide down her body in rivulets. "Like this my Lord?"
"Yes, Rin. If you like, Rin, you may cover your breasts & lower region."
"I will if you want me to my Lord," Rin said as she carefully moved closer to Sesshomaru until she stood with her feet between his legs. "I know your eyesight is perfect at distances, but I thought you would like to see my body up close. Was I wrong in thinking so Lord Sesshomaru?"
"No, Rin. Thank you for considering it," Sesshomaru said as he allowed his eyes to roam over her body, starting from her head, his eyes moved down her body. Her eyes were now darker in color from the years, & her face was wearing the usual soft expression, with a hint of playfulness to it. "You are finished now Lord Sesshomaru?" Rin asked. When Sesshomaru nodded, she stepped from between his legs & sat next to him in the water pool. "Was what you saw satisfactory, despite the fact I am a human?"

Sesshomaru was in his bedroom, sitting on his bed, stared at the painting of his once great father, youkai Lord Inutaishou. -How could you allow for a human to cause your down fall? You were once so great & powerful, but you let a human cause your fall. How could you father?- A knock at the border of the door brought the youkai from his thoughts & his ears picked up the sound of a pounding heartbeat & directly after, his nose picked up Rin's scent outside his door. "Come in Rin," he said as he wrapped his tail around his lower area. He had not dressed since the bath & was still naked.
Rin pushed the screen door aside & walked into the room, looking at Sesshomaru. With a nod from her master, she ran to him, climbing onto his bed, & collapsed by his side, crying.
The fact that she was crying, something she hadn't done in a long time, worried him, but he refused to let the worry show through. "Rin, what has made you shed these tears?" He questioned her.
"Lord Sesshomaru, I had a terrible nightmare!" Rin sobbed. "The lady demon from the hot springs came to the castle & persuaded you to rid yourself of me, & you did! You did because you fell in love with her & only wanted to do what she said & make her happy so she would stay with you."
"Rin, if I were to fall in love, I would learn from my father's mistake of putting others before myself Rin. I would not do so. And I would not send you off Rin, not as someone else's command. It is my choice, only mine, who stays at my castle, & who leaves."
"So you're saying you would not make me leave?"
"No, Rin."
"Oh."
Sesshomaru looked at the night kimono she wore, that he had Jaken fetch for her two years ago that still fit her. It covered most of the skin belonging to her breasts, but some still showed. "Rin, why are you so comfortable with me?"
"What do you mean my Lord?"
"Earlier, I asked you to show me your naked body, you do. Before that, you were naked in the heated bath & did not cover yourself. Now, some skin belonging to your breasts is showing, yet you do not hide it. You have always been comfortable around me, never showing fear, or regret of joining my services. Why?"
Rin tilted her head, tears no longer coming down her face as she looked at him. "You mean, you have no idea? Lord Sesshomaru, I am comfortable around you, because through my time with you, you have saved my life multiple times, have even brought me back from the dead, & even taught me how to read & write. You are like a father to me my Lord."

�Yes, my Lord.� Rin smiled & laid her head on Sesshomaru's knee, something she had taken a habit of when she was little. He never disapproved of it, but he did not enforce it often, so he knew she did not expect it from him every single time. Very rarely would he run his fingers through her hair to help calm her from her troubles. He thought back to the last time he had teased her hair & since it had been so long, he began to run his clawed fingers through her hair, being careful not to cut any of her hair or cut her scalp. He heard her sigh contentedly & since she could not see his face, he allowed a small smile to come to his lips.
It was then that he noticed his weird behavior recently. He had given Rin options, did not dismiss her when he intended to; even told her she could stay if she wanted to. He noticed from his thoughts that he had been acting very strange & unlike himself, as if he was turning into a soft human. He sneered & clenched his free hand into a fist, disgusted with himself for what he was becoming.
His body tensed as Rin moved her head & it brushed against he sensitive sheath that formed around his male organ, protecting it, when he wanted it to. This sheath was used to protect his organ during battles so he would not be unable to produce any heirs in the future. But with how little battles he got into, since all of the surrounding Lords knew his strength would bring their death should they fight him, it was slightly useless. He only had it formed right now because he somewhat enjoyed the snugness of his sheath.
"Lord Sesshomaru, why have you tensed?" Rin asked, her voice laced with concern. "Is your leg sore?"
"No, Rin," Sesshomaru answered as he looked down at her with a stoic expression. "Your head brushed my sheath."
"Oh, I'm sorry my Lord," Rin said as she turned over, her face directed towards his abdomen & sheath. "Lord Sesshomaru?" She looked up & at his face. "May I make a request?"
Sesshomaru lifted his right eyebrow slightly, his eyes showing a questioning look. -She wants to ask something of me? Has my recent lenience on her led her to believe she could do so without getting yelled at?-
"May I my Lord?" Rin asked. "Or does your silence mean I cannot?"
-What should I tell her? If I tell her "yes," then it could encourage her to continue making requests...- "Rin, do not get used to this, but, go ahead."
"Over the years, I have heard your sheath mentioned so many times. I have always wanted to see, maybe each touch, it. Can I Lord Sesshomaru?"
"Rin, why do you want to see it?"
"Because I am an extremely curious person. I have wanted to see it for a while. I overhear you & Master Jaken talking about it after battles with Lord Inu Yasha, talking about how well it protected, what you & Master Jaken call, your 'organ,' & it just makes me wonder even more about what it looks like & feels like. So, may I look at it my Lord?"
"Only this one time Rin," Sesshomaru said as he opened his kimono, revealing to her his upper torso, & his sheath. "This is my sheath Rin. It only forms when I want it to. It heals faster than any other part of my body because of what it keeps safe."
"May I touch it?"
"You may. But I am serious Rin. Do not get used to being told yes. Understood?"
"Yes, my Lord,� Rin said as she gently ran her fingers over the sheath, enjoying the velvety feel it had. She had not felt something this soft in a long time. Even before she met Sesshomaru & became his servant. She studied it with her eyes as she continued to feel the sheath, her curiosity about it growing with each passing second.
The sheath was the color of his skin, but it looked like someone had made a trench in his abdomen & pushed it outwards, leaving a hole at the top. It was long & wide in shape, with a slightly big bulge at the base. Under the sheath, connected right under the bulge in the base, was his sac, more sensitive than his sheath.
"Lord Sesshomaru?"
"Yes, Rin?"
"What is this bump at the base of your sheath?" She asked as she lightly ran her fingers over the curve of it.
"That is where some of my male organ is hidden. When I make the sheath disappear, it returns to its normal spot between my legs. But while in my sheath, it stays there, in the bottom middle of my abdomen, ready to come out if I should I allow it to."
"You mean it can come out from the sheath?" She asked as she looked up at Sesshomaru's face, her eyebrows raising when he gave a slight nod. "Can you show me?"
Sesshomaru was taken back by her eagerness to see his organ, which to his knowledge, would be the first one for her to see. -This request is beginning to go too far. I cannot allow her to keep thinking she may be bold with me.- "Rin, I think it best if you do not see it."
Rin bit her lip. "Yes, my Lord," she said. "What you think is best, must be best." She smiled & snuggled her face into the side of his abdomen, inhaling his scent that was oddly sweet. "Lord Sesshomaru, you smell nice..."
"What?"
"You smell nice. Instead of blood, or death, like some youkai, you smell of...flowers. I like it."
Sesshomaru felt his male organ throb inside his sheath & it did not take him long to figure out why. His body was enjoying her soft touch earlier, & now it was yearning for her. -Is this what started it for father? A soft touch from a young, innocent woman?- He questioned himself. -I cannot let myself end up like him.- "Rin..." When he got no response, he looked down to see her staring in a daze at his sheath, where a few inches of his cock had slid out from the sheath. "Rin."
She blinked a few times & looked up at him. "Yes, Lord Sesshomaru?"
As Sesshomaru began to open his mouth to speak, his nose picked up the scent of a female aroused by something. Realizing the scent belonged to Rin, his body tensed again, but worse than any of the other times. This made Rin's brow furrow & her face shift to a concerned expression.
"Why have you tensed again my Lord?" She asked, sitting up on her knees so she was face to face with her master. "You keep tensing, what is making you do so?"
Sesshomaru did not answer her as he rose from the bed & left the bedroom, leaving Rin to stare after him as he made his way until he castle & castle grounds. He kept going until he found himself in the middle of the woods, in a spot of thick brush with trees surrounding most of it.
He removed his obi & opened his kimono before sliding his hand into his hakama & pulling his cock from its confinements within. He leaned back against a tree & wrapped his hand around his shaft, his lip twitching as his cock throbbed in his grasp. He pumped his hand on his shaft, licking his lips as he thrust into his hand. Come to my room," he said & walked away, heading to his bedroom, where he laid sprawled out on his back.
A few moments later, Rin came into the room & got on the bed next to him. "You wanted to see me Lord Sesshomaru?"
"Rin, I am going to be leaving the castle for a while on a personal leave. However, I am leaving behind Jaken & yourself," he said, making sure he did not look at her. He could smell the fear & feel sadness she was beginning to give off. "I cannot be bothered by servants while I keep myself busy with my personal business."
Rin felt tears come to her eyes as Sesshomaru spoke. -He does not wish to be bothered? Am I a bother to him?- She whimpered & turned her head to the side so he could not see the tears that glistened in her eyes. She knew this was useless though, she knew he could smell the salt in her tears. "When are you leaving?"
"Soon."
"For how long my Lord?"
"Rin, what have I taught you about asking too many questions?"
Rin bowed her head, closing her eyes. "I am sorry, Lord Sesshomaru. May I explain myself, for my questioning?"
"You may. Keep it simple."
"When you are gone my Lord, I fear for my life every second you are not here. Jaken is of some protection, yes, but unlike you my Lord, he can be destroyed with the simplest of demon attacks... He can even be destroyed by a mere human, such as myself. But you provide the most protection since you are unable to be destroyed by such simple things."
"Your reasoning is good enough to excuse you for your rudeness Rin, but I will not tolerate it once more," Sesshomaru said, looking at her. "I will have to send you to a village while I am away. This way you will have multiple people to defend you until I come back for you."
"Lord Sesshomaru, please do not do this!" Rin begged, sobbing as she did so. The thought of being sent to a village away from her Lord, was more than she could handle taking in. To hear something like this, her master wanting to send her to a different village, without him, was too much. "Lord Sesshomaru, I would feel better being with Jaken, then with a village full of strangers that you could destroy with the sweep of your claws. Please Lord Sesshomaru, do not send me to a village!"
Sesshomaru was taken back by her begging; something that was barely a memory in his head since she hardly did so. �Rin. I am not wavering on this decision of mine. You will go to the village, then to my castle once I have returned. I will come to get you myself.�
�But Lord Sesshomaru!�
�Rin, go to your room & sleep. You need your rest.�
Without another word, Rin left his bed chamber, going to her room, where she laid down on her bedding. Her hair fell over her face slightly as she laid there, not moving; except for the small silent sobs that wracked her body. She felt so empty & scared at the moment & she had no one to comfort her since she had been sent to the lonely room by Sesshomaru & Jaken would never comfort her the way she needed at the moment. -I am sorry I have upset you enough to send me away from you Lord Sesshomaru,- she thought as she blinked her eyes to clear some tears that were building up & not yet falling. -Why was I so foolish as to act out like that in front of you?-
Rin sat up in her bedding & pulled her knees to her chest, crying softly into the palms of her hands, her heart feeling as if it was breaking in her chest. She did not care if he found her crying; she wanted him to know the pain he was causing her. After so many years of being by his side, he was just throwing her away to some village she was unfamiliar with just because he thought it would be best for her.
-This isn�t the best thing for me! Why doesn�t he see that I belong with him & not some strangers?!- She screamed in her mind as more tears fell down her cheeks, leaving wet trails where they fell. -We belong together; I�ve known this since the day I found him wounded in the woods & tried to save him! He was the first person I had not feared since I lost my family, & now he�s getting rid of me. He�s going to leave me alone in a place I�ve never been.-
She wiped away her tears & put her forehead on her knees, closing her eyes. -He says he will come back for me, but I know he won�t. I can hear it in his voice; he is leaving me for good.-
In his bed chamber, Sesshomaru was standing by his bedding, thinking about his decision & wondering if this was a wrong thing to do. He knew the village was a risky act in itself, but how would her life turn out if he left her in the care of some other person or persons. He sighed & ran his fingers through his bangs, looking at the markings on his wrist that he inherited from his father. The markings were a reminder of why he was doing this; to avoid becoming his late father who was destroyed in time because he was foolish enough to let himself fall for a lowly human woman. -This is for the best. No matter how much she cries, she will have to get used to her new home once I take her there.- he thought to himself. -This will also be a good chance for her to find a human life mate that would treat her well in life.-
Then her happiness came to his mind. -I will keep watch over her from a distance for a while & if things are not looking good, I will get her & take her to a better village... I will do this until she finds a place she can be happy in for the remainder of her life...- Sesshomaru nodded to himself & laid on his bedding before he closed his eyes & began his nightly meditation.
