Chapter Six

So, this is your true form? Sesshoumaru asked, looking over the now transformed Nashori. I suppose my young servant is wiser than I thought

Sesshoumaru, may I speak with you? Kaede asked as she motioned for Nashori to leave the hut. As soon as Nashori was out of the hut, she put her arm on the youkai Lords remaining arm. It appears to me that someone did not want anyone to discover the girls true identity. There were several spells cast upon her to conceal her. They were meant to least, but they were easy enough for me to take care of.

I can understand this, old one, Sesshoumaru said. She comes from the era that my brothers dead wench came from. Should someone see her true for there, she would be killed on sight.

Until she goes back to her era, she needs to find a way to hide her hanyou form. Or she could decide to stay in this era where it would at least be somewhat safer for her kind.

I agree with you, but she cannot stay with me. She is not the kind of girl to go for being a servant. I can tell just by looking at her.

Aye. But where can we send her if she stays in this time?

Ill let you figure it out. The sooner I rid myself of this village, the better.

Sesshoumaru, do yeh intend to leave her here with my people?

That is exactly what I intend to do, old one. I have no use for a hanyou that couldnt possibly be a servant.

Nashori watched as the great youkai Lord that brought her to the village, left, not even looking back at her as he began to disappear from her vision. She looked at the monk that stood at her right side with a look of despair in her eyes. Is he really leaving me here? She asked him.

It appears so, Miroku replied, looking at her. If you like, you can stay in my hut.

On the same futon as you? With a nod from the monk, she narrowed her eyes at him. Hentai! She snapped, hitting the side of his head with the flattened palm of her hand, before she turned on her heel & walked back to the village. She knew she had no place to go so it was pointless to walk away from him.

Im sorry, that was wrong of me, Miroku said as he caught up to her, rubbing the side of his head where she hit him. Its my habit & its a hard one to break around a beauty, such as yourself.

Give it a rest, she said with a sigh as a very light snowfall began to litter the ground with little flakes. My heart is already taken by someone from my time.

Do you have his heart?

Nope.

Then why allow him to keep yours?

Because I love him, she said as she stopped walking & turned to look at him. I used to have his heart in my hands, but then Sasuma got the man she wanted, him. Hokuro & I were together for a full year when she met him. Within a week he was stolen from me. If all men are like that, then I dont want one again. So drop your act, quit calling me beautiful, & dont you dare ask me to bare your child or else. Just Just stay away from me! She yelled before she walked back to the village, shaking some snowflakes from her hair.

Back at the village, the snow was falling harder & more was coming down, but Reikon Hakaisha was sitting on the porch of his fathers hut, arms crossed across his chest, a look of anger on his face. When he looked at her, he sneered & looked the other way, tilting his head downward.

She walked to the porch & stood in front of him, looking at his face. Why arent you in there with your dad? She asked.

Thats not your business, he growled, not looking at her.

Are you cold?

No, he lied as a cold shiver racked his body, making him narrow his eyes, hating that his lie had been blown because he was getting to be too cold. Im just fine.

Ah, she said as she faced her side to him, about to walk away. Well, I dont know how warm the huts can get, but if you get too cold out here & would like to be inside somewhere, you can come to my hut & get warm by a fire

He huffed & watched her as she shrugged & started walking away from him. He shivered again & looked at the screen door that was in the doorway behind him, then looked for her, but instead of finding her, he saw a screen door fall into place a few huts away.

He bit his lip & rose to his feet, wobbling for a moment since his feet has fallen asleep with how long he had been sitting there. He turned & walked into the hut to have the Tetsusaiga thrown at him, fully transformed; but instead of hitting him, it hit the wall next to his head. He looked at his dad to find himself being glared at by Inu Yasha.

What are you doing in here? Inu Yasha demanded. I told you to stay outside since youre not wanted in here!

Since when do I listen to you?

You better start listening to me, Inu Yasha growled as he rose to his feet, cracking his knuckles.

Why? Youre not my father, Reikon Hakaisha smirked, knowing that even if his father didnt care about him, it bothered him to hear him say things like this.

I am your father, you little brat. If your mother were still here, she would tell you herself.

But she isnt here, is she pop?

Ill kill you for saying that to me!

Reikon Hakaisha ran from the hut as his father grabbed the Tetsusaiga from the wall of the hut & advanced to him. He ran from Inu Yashas hut to Nashoris hut even though more snow had built up on the ground while he was in the hut with his dad. When he got there, he was so cold & numb, he barely noticed the pain in his wrist when he stumbled in & landed on his hand. All he could feel of the pain was a dull ache.

Reikon Hakaisha, are you alright? Nashori asked as she went over to him & helped him to his feet, wincing as he let out a high-pitched yelp since she had used the hurt wrist to help him up, unaware of the pain that was there already. What happened? She asked, getting on her knees in front of him, looking at the wrist that she now held gently in her hand.

Didnt you hear it pop when I fell on it? He asked, whimpering as his face scrunched up as a pain shot through his arm.

Let me know when I cant turn it anymore, okay? She asked as she began to rotate it slowly to the left. It only got a little bit before he nodded & she began rotating it to the right, having the same problem as with turning it left. Okay Im going it move it up, & then down Same request as before

As she put her palm against his, she pushed up slightly, stopping when he couldnt handle it anymore. She put her hand on the top of his & pushed down until he yelped. This isnt good, she mumbled to herself, the ears on top of her head going back slightly as her brow furrowed.

Whats wrong with my wrist? He sniffled as he asked.

Ive broken my wrist before & so far, youre showing the same signs I did when mine was broken, she answered. But there is still one more test before I can tell if its a very bad sprain or a broken bone

What is it?

Hold your hand up & make as much of a fist as you can without pain, she said & watched as he did so, sighing when she saw he couldnt even make a half fist without whimpering. Your wrist might be broken Reikon Hakaisha.

How long will it take to heal?

I dont know It takes a normal human around three to four weeks to heal from a broken bone, but mine was healed within one week. Since youre a, please dont take this wrong, quarter demon, it might take you two weeks to heal if it is broken.

How long is that?

Fourteen days It flies by if you have your mind on something else.

Reikon Hakaisha sighed & looked at his wrist as a tear, from the pain, fell down his cheek & was wiped away by her soft touch. He looked at her, confused by how nice she was being to him even though he had been rude to her earlier.

I know it hurts Shikakukon, but the pain will go away once it begins healing, she said, wiping away another fallen tear from his cheek. Im going to get Kaede so she can set up a sort of brace thing to help keep it still so the bones can heal.

No.

Why not? I cant make it myself.

You have to! I know she wont help me, because she hates me. Im always so rude to her, why would she want to help me?

If I ask her to do it for me, she might do it And you never know Hon, she could do it for you because she might like you even if you are mean to her.

If you wanna go get her, then fine, he said as he sat by the fire & huffed.

I will, she said as she rose to her feet & left the hut.
