Sesshomaru walked into the entrance of the wolf caves, spotting Catriona laying on some bedding with Rin by her side, holding her hand. Koga was right, she was with child at one point, he thought to himself, taking in the faint scent of miscarriage. I hope she will recover well from it. He walked to her resting place & kneeled down, putting his hand on Rin's shoulder. "Rin," he spoke softly.
The girl quickly turned & jumped him, wrapping her arms tightly around his neck, hugging. "Papa Sesshomaru!" She cried, her tears were that of joy since Sesshomaru was finally here. "Papa Sesshomaru, I missed you so much!"
"I missed you too, Rin," Sesshomaru spoke, rubbing her back. "I hate to cut us short, but go outside & see Isamu."
Rin pulled away & looked up at Sesshomaru. "Isamu is outside?" Her eyes brightened up & she ran outside to find the friend she adopted as he bother before his kidnapping.
Sesshomaru moved closer to Catriona before he got on his knees & placed his hand on her shoulder, shaking it as lightly as he could, but hard enough for her to be able to feel it. "Catriona... Wake up, Catriona."
Catriona groaned softly, her mind spinning slightly as she sat up & opened her eyes, rubbing the side of her head. "I don't want anything right now Ginta," she said, not even looking over at the figure next to her.
"Last I checked, Catriona, my name was not Ginta," Sesshomaru said, making her head snap in his direction, her eyes wide.
"Sesshomaru!" She exclaimed, moving to him & hugging him tightly. "Sesshomaru, I knew you weren't dead!" She said as she buried her face in his hair. As a wave of pain swelled in her stomach, her body tensed sharply, trying to fight away the pain that was threatening to make her cry. "I'm so glad you're finally here with me again!"
"I'm glad to be with you again as well Catriona," he said, rubbing her side when he felt her tense. "Why do you tense?"
"It's nothing for you to worry about Sesshomaru," she answered as the pain went away & her body relaxed into Sesshomaru's touch. "The pain goes away after a few moments so I will be fine." She pulled away & looked into his golden eyes. "Gods I missed you... Did you find Isamu?" Her tone wavered in her question; she was unsure if she wanted to hear bad news.
"We found him with my mother."
"Your mother? But I thought Inu Yasha said he was kidnapped by Naraku?"
"Let me explain... Isamu escaped Naraku, but Naraku sought after him, catching up with him when he found my mother. My mother destroyed Naraku & then from what Isamu told me, it was the same day that we met up again. He has not left my side since, until now. He is currently outside with Rin."
"Catriona, are you feeling okay now that you've had rest for a little while?" Koga asked as he approached the two, his tail swaying slowly behind him.
Catriona looked at him, nodding. "Yes Koga. Thank you for saving me from Miroku & letting me stay here in your caves until you got Sesshomaru here for me. It was very kind of you."
"As I told Kagome, she wanted it so I did it for her. I'll do anything for my woman."
"You're a good mate Koga," she said, looking at Sesshomaru. "But in my opinion, not as good as Sesshomaru." Koga smiled & walked away from the two, leaving them alone. Catriona smiled at Sesshomaru. "Can we please go back to the castle & be a family again while I'm here?"
Sesshomaru nodded. "I want to get you back to the castle so you can get the rest you need." He carefully picked her up & walked outside with her where he set her down so Isamu could greet his mother.

Sesshomaru kissed the top of Catriona's head as they lay in his bedding together, holding each other close. It had been two weeks since they became a full family again, being reunited with their son. Sesshomaru had not let her out of his sight for very long even though the dangers were over. Miroku was found by Koga in the Southern Lands, far from Sesshomaru's castle. Nothing happened to him, but Sesshomaru was told of Miroku's whereabouts & has decided to keep sharp watch when he went on patrol. It has also been decided that Catriona would come with him on patrol if he happened to do so while she was still here.
Catriona lifted her head & looked up at Sesshomaru, a small smile playing on her lips as she thought about last night, her body getting a small chill. She smiled & buried her face in his chest, inhaling his scent, smiling more. She loved to know that he was definitely in love with her; that he was completely devoted to her in everyway.
Sesshomaru rubbed her back softly & kissed the top of her head again. "Catriona, look up at me. I have something I wish to ask you," he said, pulling away some to look down at her.
Catriona rose her head to meet his gaze. "What is it Sesshomaru?" She asked, running her fingers through his hair.
