Koga slowly made his way outside, where he had been summoned, & was quick to dodge a blow from Sesshomaru's light whip. He growled as he looked at the youkai that was starting at him from under his bangs, red eyes glowing brightly. "What is the meaning of this?" Koga growled.
"I do not trust my mate's safety in the hands of a weak youkai like yourself," Sesshomaru answered, preparing another whip as he spoke. "I wish for you to prove yourself to me, show me that you will fight hard to defend her if her life is put in danger while she is with you."
"Who said she was indeed going with me?"
"This is incase you should agree," Sesshomaru growled, attacking with the whip again, hitting Koga in his thigh as the ookami tried to dodge, but had been slow to react. "So far you aren't proving yourself."
Koga duck down to the ground & kicked up at Sesshomaru as the youkai charged at him; his kick managed to land against the inu youkai's jaw, causing Sesshomaru to let out a growl when the rows of his teeth smacked together. Koga danced away from Sesshomaru as the youkai charged at him again, this time knocking the ookami to the ground with a powerful blow to the face.
Sesshomaru stood over the ookami that lay on the ground, seeming to be stunned. He unsheathed the Toukijin & was preparing to fight Koga with it when the ookami leapt into the air, creating his dust cyclone & ran at Sesshomaru, enveloping him within it. He sliced upwards with the Toukijin, missing Koga as the ookami let him free from the cyclone & dropped him to the ground.
Koga laughed at the sight of Sesshomaru falling to the ground after not expecting to be dropped. His laughter was soon gone as he found himself being knocked into a tree seven feet away by a punch in his jaw.
