From her spot on Koga's back, Kagome had become quiet bored with just hanging on as they moved across the land in the form of a dusty cyclone, & her thighs were beginning to cramp from being spread across his back so she could straddle him. -Can't this go quicker?- She thought as she looked up at the dusk sky.
"Koga, could we stop somewhere?" She hollered over the rushing wind.
He gave her no verbal answer, but only stopped after a few more minutes of running, allowing her to slide down from his back. He turned to look at his ningen mate as she stretched & cracked her back & neck, moaning softly. "Is this a good place Kagome?" He asked as his tail twitched behind him.
Kagome nodded, feeling a little bit better now that she had tended to part of her body's needs. "It's good Koga," she spoke, looking around at the wooded area surrounding the slightly large clearing he had stopped in. "You did well on picking a spot for us to rest in... Do you think we could stay here over night?"
Koga smiled at her, receiving on in return as he slid his arm around her waist. "We can stay anywhere you want," he spoke, his words flowing from his lips.
Kagome grinned, & slid her arms around his neck, pressing her lips to his in a deep kiss that had him pulling her closer to his body, pressing her against him, as she felt him slide his tongue into her mouth. She moaned softly into the kiss as her tongue teased Koga's. She shivered when she felt a cold hand slide into the kimono she was wearing. She moaned again when the hand began massaging her breast while a thumb rubbed over her nipple.
Koga broke the kiss & untied the obi that held her kimono closed & let it & the kimono fall to the ground at Kagome's feet as he cupped her right breast with his hand. Bending his head down to flick his tongue over her nipple, he also lightly bit the hardened nipple. Hearing her moan, & taking in the scent of her arousal, Koga pulled away from her with a wicked grin on his lips.
Kagome whimpered & looked at him. "What are you doing?" She demanded.
"You're in no condition to be engaging in sexual acts," he teased, winking at her before he kneeled down & picked up her kimono & obi, handing them to her when he stood up. "I think you might want to put these back on."
Kagome snatched the kimono & obi from her mate & redressed herself in the kimono & closed it with the obi. "Damn you Koga," she whimpered. "You're an evil youkai. You know that?" She pouted, but began looking for a spot suitable enough to set up a fire to keep them warm.
Koga looked at Kagome as he sniffed the air. "I'm almost positive I smell a deer or two nearby," he stated. "I'm going to go hunt them down. Think you'll be okay by yourself?"
"I'll be fine," she answered, giving a small nod. "I was about to ask you if it would be okay if I went to look for fire wood so I could make us a fire."
"That's fine with me as long as you're sure you can handle yourself if you get into a situation. Or at least keep yourself safe long enough for me to get back to you in time to save you."
"You have nothing to worry about Koga."
"I may not have anything to worry about with you Kagome, but I do have to worry about the pups in your womb & the youkai that like the taste of pregnant women & unborn children; youkai or ningen."
Kagome shuddered at the thought of such a being existing, but she knew that in this time it was entirely possible. "I'll be fine Koga. If it will comfort you, I'll stay here to look for fire wood until you return & hopefully have a fire going by the time you get back."
"Would you mind at all doing it that way?"
Kagome shook her head. "Koga, I wouldn't mind doing it that way at all," she said. "If I would mind doing it that way, I wouldn't have suggested it at all."
"Good point... Okay Kagome, I'll see you as soon as I get that deer for us."
Kagome watched as Koga disappeared in his cyclone of dust & wind, leaving her by herself. She soon busied herself with walking around the clearing, picking up any kind of twig or stick that would work to help build a fire & keep it going. As she walked around the clearing, she found herself placing her unoccupied hand over her belly, rubbing slightly with a smile on her face.
-These pups Koga wants, even if they are going to be hanyou,- she thought as she walked to the middle of the clearing, setting down the pieces of wood that she had collected so far & putting them in a pile. She rose to her feet & began another round, looking for bigger pieces this time. -I wonder if these pups will end up having a big part in the ookami pack. I hope so, for the sake of Koga's pack & his happiness. I also hope that however many they are, are all boys.-
When she had enough wood to get a fire going & to last them through the night, Kagome set to work, digging a hole in the ground where she would start the fire. Having the hole deep enough within a few minutes, she grabbed certain pieces from the pile of wood that she had gathered & began putting them into the hole. When she had the right amount in, she studied the hole & realized that something was missing. -What am I forgetting?- She asked herself as she stared at the hole for a few more minutes.
"Rock guards!" She announced as if someone was actually around. She chuckled to herself & rose to her feet, walking around the camp site for rocks that were big enough to act as a guard around the fire to keep it from spreading from the hole. -The last thing I need right now is a forest fire,- she thought to herself as she studied two rocks, trying to decide which was better or if both could be used.

Koga masked his scent as he moved closer to the deer he had smelled earlier, grinning at the massive size of the buck. So far he had managed to get within ten feet of the massive creature & was doing well, having not been noticed yet by the buck. He let his primal urges take over & he sprinted after the buck, giving it very little time to react as he sank his fangs into the neck of the buck.
Copper liquid filled his mouth, washing over his tongue as the buck tried to get him off in hopes of saving it's life. Koga tore his fangs through the buck's flesh, a deep growl emerging from his throat as he fell away from the buck. He rolled from the thrashing buck & leapt at it once more, latching onto the windpipe of the creature, trying to suffocate it. After several moments passed of him holding onto the buck's neck, the creature finally gave in & fell to the ground, almost crushing Koga in the process.
He crawled away from it after making sure it was dead, by ripping out its throat, & stared at it, coming back to his normal senses. -Ginta & Hakkaku would have loved to watch me go at it with this thing,- he thought as he slung it up over his shoulders, walking back to the camp.
Upon returning to camp, Koga found Kagome sitting by a decent-sized fire. "Did you have any trouble while I was gone?" He asked as she looked up at him when he dropped the buck to the ground.
"I had no trouble," Kagome answered, her eyes moving from her mate to the buck on the ground that had blood slowly pooling from the wounds on its neck. "I see you had luck with hunting?"
Koga gave a proud, triumphant smile & nodded, puffing out his chest slightly. "It was almost as easy as insulting that mutt-face," he said, only to get a sharp look from Kagome. His tail, which had been slowly moving from side to side behind him, now lay still as he looked at her. "What?"
"Even though I don't love him Koga, you know I'm still friends with Inu Yasha & I don't like it when you put him down like that," Kagome answered as she lowered her head. "And although, our...your pack-"
"You had it right the first time. They are our pack."
Kagome nodded. "And although our pack needs the pups, it wasn't right of you to make this deal with him."
Koga chuckled nervously. "What deal are you talking about Kagome?"
Kagome narrowed her eyes at her mate. "The deal that states if we go see Sesshomaru, then he has to mate with the females coming to the caves. I heard about it from Ginta who was telling Hakkaku about it."
Koga lowered his head; his pride from his hunt was now gone. "I'm only looking out for the pack."
"I know you are Koga & I understand. But you could have just asked instead or making this deal." Koga nodded as Kagome stared at him, soon feeling bad that she had ruined his pride over his taking down of the giant buck. "Hey Koga, why don't you tell me about your hunt while I get to work on preparing some of the meat for our dinner?"
Koga's head snapped up, his eyes slightly wide & a big smile on his face. "Fine by me," he said before he went into the details of his hunting the giant buck.
