[a sum up would ruin the story... just think about the song by Nickleback...]
A/N: my friends were confused but after they figured it out they started yelling at me and crying... it was so funny! enjoy!
Joel stood in the kitchen reading the paper. Tears streaming from his sad brown eyes down his cheeks. I looked at him. I hated seeing him cry. He looked up from what he was reading, he looked right at me, but seemed to look straight through me. He tossed the paper on the table, it slid across the polished oak, knocking over a glass of water.
He was going on tour next week and he went over to finish packing. He was still crying. I hated seeing this and I began to cry.
I watched as he picked up one of my shirts and smelled it. He started crying even more as he set it in his bag.
"I'm sorry baby." I whispered to him. He just grabbed his bag and started walking across the apartment to our bedroom. I followed him. I watched as he picked up some pictures from the dresser and placed them in his bag followed by my poetry book. This made me cry even more. I reached out to touch his shoulder, but he just walked away from me. "Please Joel... Don't go."
He walked through the spilled water leaving a trail of watery footsteps. He opened the door and looked back at me and around the apartment. He cast his eyes downward and left, closing the door behind him.
I almost fell down on the floor right then, but I collected myself, grabbed my AFI hoodie and ran out the door after Joel quickly putting on the hoodie.
I saw Joel get in his car. I ran over and stood in front of the car as he put the key in the ignition. "Don't go." I mouthed as he closed his eyes and let his head fall back on the head rest as he cried.
I went to his door and leaned my forhead on the window. I slammed my hand on the glass, trying to get his attention. He didn't look at me, he just started the car. I slammed both my hands on the window. "Joel! Don't leave!" He started driving away. I ran down the street after him.
I stopped running, it was no use. He was on his way to Benji's. I couldn't run after him the whole way. Then I remembered the stop light at the bottom of the hill. I started running again. I watched ahead of me and saw everything like it was in slow motion. A semi ran a red light and collided with Joel's car.
By-standers ran over to the wreck. I couldn't move. I was so scared he hadn't survived. Then suddenly, the crowds parted a little and Joel came out of the car. He was smiling, no more tears. He walked up to me and pulled me into a hug.
"I tried to tell you not to go."
"But I'm with you forever now." He whispered, smiling.
"I love you." I said as another tear streaked my cheek.
He pulled away from me and wiped away my tears with his thumb. "No more tears. I love you." He said as he kissed me.
