Tommy turned around. He was now infront of Benji. "That seems to be happening a lot to me lately." He smiled and looked at Joel.
"Only because we like you." Joel grinned.
Tommy turned back around in his new seat and face the front of the class.
Pixley felt like she was going to throw up. She looked pail and felt like her stomach was stuck to her back bone. She put her arms over her stomach and started to rock back and forth. Joel looked at her.
"Pix? You don't look so good. Are you OK?"
She took a deep breath and looked at Joel. She tried to smile. She could feel it, she knew she was gonna puke. She ran to the bath room and knelt on the floor in front of the porcelain bowl.
She grabbed her head and sat back. Heather walked in and found her sitting on the floor. "Pixley? What's wrong?"
She looked up at Heather. "I don't know. Just... I don't know."
Heather knelt next to her. "Can you come back to class with me? Wait," She pulled something from her purse. "Breathmint." She smiled.
"Thanks." Pixley took the mint and popped it in her mouth. "I don't know what's wrong with me. I just felt sick. Feel better now, but I prolly looked like a fool running in here with my hand over my mouth." She stood slowly with Heathers help.
They walked back to class and sat back down. Joel looked at Pixley. "Are you alright?"
"Who me? Yeah, I'm fine." Pixley smiled.

At lunch, Heather sat next to Benji. Billy and Paul sat next to Pixley and she sat across from Joel. Joel kept looking at Pixley curriously.
"So..." Paul started, trying to break the silence.
"Buttons on boxers?" Pixley smiled.
Billy laughed. "Where did that come from?"
"He said 'So'." Pixley smiled. "It's just something stupid that I like to say. Mostly because I like boxers."
Benji grinned evilly. "You like boxers, but you don't like-- wait make that hate, nuts. How does that work out?"
"Shut up. I wasn't talking about those nuts. I was talkin' about the nuts on ice cream." She threw her spork at Benji, hitting his shoulder.
"You never answered my question though."
Billy cocked his head to one side. "What question is that?" He asked.
Benji smiled a whicked smile. "She said she doesn't like nuts so I asked how she felt about balls. She never answered." He looked at Pixley expectantly.
She looked at Heather for some sign of salvation. Heather just grinned her most evil grin ever. "She likes balls."
Pixley shoved her lunch away from her and banged her head on the table. "I hate you Heather." She mummbled.
Joel kicked Benji under the table. "Ouch! What'd I do?"
Joel scoffed and sat next to Pixley. He wrapped an arm around her. "Pixley. Come on, sit up." He almost had to sit her up. She was completely limp.
"Stop trying to be the good guy." Pixley said, looking at the ceiling.
"Not until you stop acting like a baby everytime Benji brings up nuts and balls."
Billy, Paul, Benji and Heather snickered.
"I'm not being a baby." She looked at Joel. "I'm just embarrassed." She looked into his brown eyes and smiled.
Joel noticed Pixleys eyes were now bright blue. "Can you please tell me what colour your eyes really are? That bugs the hell outta me."
Pixley smiled and looked up as if in thought. She looked back at Joel and grinned. "Guess."
Joel gave a pleading look at Heather. "Brown." Heather mouthed.
"No helping Heather." Pixley didn't even look at Heather, she just kept her eyes on Joels.
"Brown." Joel smirked.
Pixley gave an exasperated sigh. "I told you not to help him Heather. You do realize I now have to find my spork and stab out your eyes?"
"If you hadn't thrown it at Benji, I still wouldn't be worried." Heather smiled smugly.
Paul looked at Pixley. "Why do you wear contacts?"
"No reason." Pixley tried to avoid that question everytime someone asked. She looked down and saw that Joel still had his arm around her.
Jessica came up behind them. "I see little freak went slut."
Pixley turned around and glared at Jessica. "Oh, I see little slut went secretary." She motioned to the glasses Jessica was wearing.
"Well at least I don't change my eye colour every day." Jessica walked away and sat with the cheerleaders.
Heather scoffed. "That was her best come back? How lame." She leaned her head on Benji's shoulder.
Pixley turned back around. "I'm so glad I didn't try for the cheerleaders."
"I thought you did?" Billy looked at her, a confused look on his face.
"What makes you say that?"
"Last year. I saw you in the gym at the tryouts. You were good too."
"That was you?" Paul questioned. "Oh yeah. You bleached your hair that year."
Pixley tried to ignore them. "It wasn't intentional."
"What wasn't? The tryout or bleaching your hair?"
"Shut up Benji." Pixley smiled.
"Oh, I made her smile." He bounced a little in his seat.
~
Joel walked out of school with Pixley on his arm. She looked at him. "You wanna come by later? My dad won't be home, so you'll be safe."
"Sure. What time?"
"Whenever you want. Then maybe my mom'll stop askin' me so many questions." She laughed.
Heather looked over her shoulder at Pixley and Joel. She turned to Benji. "This is the happiest she's been since her dad died."
"Happiest I've ever seen her." Benji smiled. "What happened to her dad?"
"Shot. No one knows who did it, but I think I do."
"Who?"
"Roy." She took a breath and continued. "My mom went to school with Pix's mom, dad and Roy. Roy was always jealous of Pix's dad and he's also crazy. So I think he did it and my mom doesn't doubt my theory."
Benji looked back at Pixley and Joel. Pixley was laughing at Joel. "I just hope she doesn't get hurt so bad again."
Heather nodded. "Yeah. I wish they'd finish what they started at the court." she motioned to Pixley and Joel with a nod of her head.
"Me too. But it's your fault. You hit them with the ball." He poked Heather making her giggle. "Oh, is Heather ticklish? Good." Benji grinned and tickled Heather more.
Pixley stopped and looked at Benji. "Her hips. Get her hips."
"Pixley! You traitor!"
Joel laughed as Pixley stood there, her head cocked to one side, arms pushing her full breasts together and her 'innocent' school girl smile. "You're evil."
"I know." She grinned, putting her arms around Joel again. Joel kissed her cheek and got in the car.
Heather was on the ground trying to squirm out from under Benji.
"Benjiman! That doesn't look right."
Benji stopped and looked at his brother then down at Heather. She was breathing heavily. Benji blushed and got off her. He helped her to her feet. "It was fun though." He mummbled, getting in the car.
"It was fun." Heather smiled.
Pixley rolled her eyes and got comfortable in the back seat.
~
Pixley sat on her bed reading Lord of the Rings when there was a knock on her door. "S'open." She called.
The door opened, she looked up expecting to see her mom, but to her surprise it was Benji and Joel. She quickley set the book on her bed side table. "Hi. I wasn't expecting you so soon." She shoved her clothes and junk off her bed. "Sorry, I was gonna clean, but got too involved in my book." She blushed. She was still wearing the skirt she borrowed from Heather and now an Aerosmith shirt.
Joel watched when she bent over, then shook his head when she stood.
Benji snickered. "It's OK. It's just us. No need to be clean."
Pixley picked up her folded clothes and stuffed them in the dresser. She was trying frantically to hide her undergarments that she dropped them on the floor. She sighed and bent to pick them up. Joel cocked his head to one side and watched Pixley. Benji noticed where his brother was looking and smacked him.
"Stop." He whispered. Joel shook the thoughts from his mind.
Pixley walked back over to them and saw her reflection in the mirror behind them. Her eyes widened. She frantically pulled off her glasses and stuck them on the dresser.
"Oh I thought they brought the school girl thing together." Benji smirked.
Pixley sighed and put them back on. "I guess now that you've seen them there's no point to hide them. 'Sides, I'm blind as a bat without them."
Joel thought she was cute with them on. His 'innocent' yet 'naughty' school girl fantasy. He mentally kicked himself for thinking such things.
Pixley stood there for a second. "Sit." She said, sitting on the floor. She went to criss cross her legs but realized she was still wearing the miniskirt. "I'll be right back." She stood and went to her closet. She hid behind the door and took off the skirt and threw it on the bed behind Joel. She came out of her closet wearing black bondage pants. "Sorry, this is more comferble."
"'Comferble'?" Benji asked.
"Yes. It's my word. I know, it's childish, but that's OK. I'm childish."
Joel sat on the floor next to Pixley. "Childish is good."
"Yeah, you should know." Benji got comfortable on the bed and watched Joel watching Pixley. He laughed a little.
Pixley looked at him a bit confused. "What's so funny?"
"Nothing."
Joel looked at his brother. 'What?' He mouthed.
Benji gave his 'nothing' look and looked at the picture on Pixley's dresser.
Pixley grinned. "How you and Heather doin'?"
Benji looked at Pixley. "She's cool."
"He likes her." Joel said bluntly.
"I could tell." Pixley smiled and tapped Benji's leg. "Don't tell her I told you, but that day you picked me up at her house she said you were cute. She was almost a drool fest."
"Yeah, well..." Benji looked at Joel and smirked. "Joel said--"
Joel jumped on his brother.
"Oook..." Pixley didn't understand the twins yet. She looked a bit confused. She pulled Joel off Benji. "Tell me Benji, what did Joel say?"
Benji grinned evilly. "He likes you."
"Benji!"
Pixley looked at the floor and blushed trying not to smile.
"S'ok bro. I think Pix likes you."
Pixley looked up, surprised at Benji's comment. "Why would you say that?"
"Cause it's true." Benji grinned.
Joel smiled then smacked his brother again. "OK, I admit it." He nodded as he sat on the bed next to Benji.
Pixley stood in the middle of the room and tried not to make eye contact with either twin. She mummbled something.
"What?" Benji asked, grinning.
Pixley looked at Benji, she tried to glare at him but couldn't. Benji looked at her expectant. "Alright, I like Joel."
