Inuyasha, Kagome and Miroku were in the middle of a battle with a gigantic bear who had a shard of the shikon jewel in his forehead. During the battle Inuyasha retrieved the jewel fragment but was attacked, and the shard covered in demon bear blood was injected to Inuyasha's arm as Kagome and Miroku defeated the bear. A few moments after, Inuyasha ran off to the former cave of the bear and slowly his eyes became a blood shot red and his hair turned brunette as he was now transformed into an evil Inuyasha, who went by the name of Hitsomada. Kagome and Miroku found Hitsomada killing some village men and tried to convert him back to Inuyasha. Hitsomada wanted to make Kagome his evil Queen and they shall take over this planet but her love for Inuyasha was unbreakable. Hitsomada attacked Miroku with his new found powers of sonic waves, which can be shot from his mouth hands or eyes. Also he can fade away and disappear, fading back anywhere he wants to be. Kagome fears for Inuyasha and releases an energy wave of bright white light which surrounded Hitsomada, but the light flashed white and black at times. Then the white light fell to the ground and the black light was in the air. As the white light faded away Inuyasha was on the ground, and then the black light fades away, and it was Hitsomada. Somehow the energy gave them both their own bodies. Hitsomada faded away and now from time to time he attacks them for fun. You see Hitsomada has one problem. If Inuyasha was to die or get injured, so would Hitsomada, and the same goes for Inuyasha. So if one dies the other will to.
