Welcome to Diagon Alley's free layouts! You need to have some HTML experience. Otherwise it will be really confusing!!!! These are linkware, which means that you can use them as long as you have a link back to www.geocities.com/diagonalley_web!!!!!! However, please also read the Terms of Use found below.

Terms of Use

Using this means that you agree to these terms:
- You must leave the credit on the bottom of the main page.
- You may not edit any images.
- You may not cover up the credit on the images.
- You may not erase the credit on the image.
- Please do not change the position of the images/text!
- You may not claim this layout as your own work; if you do, you will be added to the "Black List."

How to Use

Here is a guide about how to use this layout. The sections of the HTML that I have shown in bold and red in the boxes are the only things that you should change (or you can leave them the way that they are). You can of course, edit this page and the other informative pages so that they are not part of your site.

1. Download and unzip the file using WinZip.

2. Open index.html and change the title.

3. Still in index.html, find the affiliates section. You can change this to whatever you want, add affiliates, etc.

4. Save index.html

5. Open hpt.html and change the title. Then save it!

6. Now create your content! Go to How to Create Pages found in the navigation to the right to find out how. :)

7. Open hpt-links.html and add links to your content. You can edit anything that you want in this file, but follow these guidelines to make it work! :) To make the underlined titles, use this:

Be sure to include all the special stuff in the <a href...> tag. See the example below.

8. Save hpt-links.html.
