Casey: This was the worst Valentine�s day ever!

Sara: Well there is still about 5 hours till midnight so, we still have time to celebrate Valentine�s day.

Casey: Mm� look, I am going to take a quick shower and I am right back. In the meantime you prepare our room for our celebration.

Sara: I have to tell him. He will find out anyway. But how? I just told him we would make love and not talk. Stupid Sara! But anyway, I will have to tell Casey, today or tomorrow.

Paula: I can't sit any longer! I have to see my mother!

Paula: She is dying!

Michael: Hi. My name is Michael Bourne. I am looking for my wife, Vanessa Bourne. I was told she is staying here.

Man: Vanessa Bourne?

Michael: Yes. B-O-U-R-N-E.

Man: Yes, Mrs. Bourne is here.

Michael: Well can I see her?

Man: She is not in her room now.

Michael: Where is she? It�s 8 PM. Is she on a dinner or�

Man: I am sorry, but I don�t know where is she. I know that she is not in her room.

Michael: Well do you mind if I wait?

Man: Well I need to see some ID and you can go in her room if you want.

Sara: I thought you were taking a shower.

Casey: Oh, I forgot to take a clean towel there are no in the bathroom.

Bette: I want to see Lainey.

AJ: You can't. We have to wait until Paula and Ricardo come back. We have to give Elaine some air.

Gabi: Don�t you think we should call Cole? He is Elaine�s son.

AJ: Gabi, you are absolutely right! I am going to call him.

Cole: Hello?

AJ: Cole, its AJ. Look, there has been� something happened. Elaine is dying.

Michael: Well, Vanessa, I�ll wait until you get back. And you�ll have a surprise of your life.

Casey: Meg, don�t even say that! Vanessa won't die. I am sure doctors will find a cure and save her.

Meg: Casey, don�t you listen to news? They say over 100 people died in one day. My God!

Sara: Meg is right. Casey this is a very serious situation.

Gregory: Olivia! Any news?

Gregory: Well I got some doctors and they are willing to check Caitlin, but they can't tell me anything before that.

Olivia: Gregory, I am so scared.

Cole: What?

AJ: You heard me. Elaine fainted yesterday on Ricardo and Paula�s wedding and ever since she is in hospital� dying.

Cole: Paula and Ricardo didn�t marry?

AJ: No.

Cole: Poor Paula. AJ, we have problems with Cait, but I�ll be there in a sec.

AJ: Ok, Cole. We�ll be waiting for you.

Cole: Why, God? Why do You put me through this pain? What did I do? Ever since I came to Sunset Beach� well I ever since I met Caitlin I tried to be good. And I think I was. Please, God, save Caitlin and my mom.

Meg: What do you mean, Sara? Vanessa is our friend. We need to be with her.

Sara: Meg, do you want to die this young?

Sara: Then don�t go!

Ben: I am sure that doctors have some way to let people see the patients.

Casey: I called the airport there is no plane until 4 PM.

Meg: 4? It�s 9 AM!

Ben: No problem. We can take Liberty helicopter.

Jamie: MY God! I am sure they will be just fine. Ken was in Chicago and he came back healthy.

Michael: Come on, Vanessa. I am waiting!

Meg: I hope we will make it on time!

Elaine: Ally� Ally is not your daughter. She is Jack�s daughter!

Cole: She is in room 654. Paula and Ricardo are with her. I am going to see her now and I won't be able to be with you, Caitlin. I am sorry.

Jamie: It will be ok. Meg and Ben will be fine. And so is Casey.

Sara: I really hope so.

Sara: You had no purse when you got here.

Jamie: No? Then I left it over at Ken�s. I have to go there and pick it up.

Sara: You need a lift? I don�t have anything to do, so I�ll drive you.

Jamie: Ok.

Gregory: Don�t you worry, honey. Maybe this is just one of Elaine�s attacks. Maybe she�ll just get up and be happy again as usual.

Caitlin: No, daddy. I think this is it. I think Elaine is dying. Maybe you should take me there. I need to be with Cole.

Gregory: No. You can't. You have to stay here and get some rest.

Caitlin: Daddy, I can't get any rest now! I am sorry, but I am too tense. There are so many problems. I am here in hospital, Elaine is dying, and Rachel is alone�

Gregory: What?

Caitlin: I said my daughter is alone in house with that witch Brooke�

Elaine: What I�ve done? You did it Paula. All by your self. You lied to Ricardo since we came back here and now I can't dying without him knowing the truth. I know you lost him now forever but I had to. Now you can hate me as much as you want but�

Paula: I don�t hate you, mom. I am sorry. I know that you are the best person on this earth and that you couldn�t do anything wrong. You told the truth. You did a right thing.

Elaine: I don�t have anything to forgive you. You are the best daughter, of course you have your bad moments, but everyone has them. I love you and I will always watch from above.

Paula: Mom, don�t leave me. I don�t know what I will do. You were always there for me and now you are leaving. Mom, please�

Elaine: Paula, I thought we agreed no tears.

AJ: Yeah. Many times. I would probably marry Elaine and we would raise Cole.

Bette: And we would never be together.

AJ: If we are meant to be we would. I would divorce Elaine and marry you.

Bette: Are you saying that we will get married sometime?

Joan: Emily! I am surprised to see you. Come in.

Emily: Surprised? I am Craig�s friend.

Joan: I know. Only with everything that has been going on� I thought you would stay away from Craig for a while.

Cole: We didn�t see them here. But AJ called me and told me you are here, so I guess he is here somewhere.

Bette: Lately nothing but bad things happen. There isn't any good thing in last couple of months.

Olivia: Well actually there is one!

Bette: Yes, of course! Gregory and you got back together! That�s nice.

Olivia: Yes. Well shall we go back?

Bette: No, not yet. There is one question I want to ask you.

Elaine: I love you to, son! (Elaine hugs Cole and they both cry. AJ walks in and sees them in this heartbreaking moment)

Elaine: AJ!

Antonio: Paula, how could you do that?

Paula: Leave me alone, Antonio!

Antonio: No! You cheated on my brother by telling him that Ally is his daughter when that was a lie! That�s something we should talk about!

Paula: Antonio, you are forgetting one thing. You are not a priest anymore. People don�t have to come to you when they have problems.

Antonio: No, people don�t have to. Friends do.

Ricardo: I don�t have a daughter. Everything was a lie! I need someone to talk to. But who? (Pause) Meg�

Emily: You want me to take you to Sean?

Craig: Yes. I need to talk to him. Please, Emily!
Emily: OK. I�ll do it. Come on.

Jamie: This waiting is killing me! Why doesn�t she say anything?

Sara: She will. Calm down, Rae is a good doctor. I never thought I�d say a good thing about that witch.

Jamie: Oh my God! Sara, I forgot! She and you are� rivals! I am so sorry!

Sara: You don�t have to apologize. It�s not your fault it was she that it�s on duty now.

Jamie: Dr. Chang! Is Ken going to be fine?

Jamie: Dr. Chang? What�s wrong? Is Ken dead?

Caitlin: Daddy, aren't you going to go see Elaine?

Gregory: I will. After your mother gets back.

Caitlin: You are afraid of leaving me alone. You think I am crazy and that I might do something.

Caitlin: Then prove it!

Caitlin: Go to Elaine and leave me alone.

Gregory: I will.

Cole: Mom, what is it?

Cole runs out. And almost knocks Gregory.

Gregory: What�s going on?

AJ: Elaine, you have to stay calm. You hear me? Stay calm!

Cole: Paula, our mom is dying! Come fast!

Paula and Cole run and Antonio wheels Gabi and follows them.

Back in the room:

AJ: Elaine, Paula and Cole will be here soon!

Elaine: I want�(gasp) to see Pau � la.

AJ: You will! She is coming!

Gregory: Elaine, it�s Gregory. Caitlin says goodbye and that she always loved you and she always will.

Elaine: Cait � lin?

Gregory: Yes!

Jack: Elaine, do you want us to save you?

Paula: Of course, you jerk! Mom, I am here. I forgive you everything! Please, just don�t die!

Elaine: I love you to� Jack� don�t�

Jack: ok. Goodbye!

Paula: Jack? Jack, what are you doing? Jack!

Jack exits.

Paula: Mom? Mom!

Elaine: Good � bye�

Paula: No!

Cole: Goodbye, Mom.

Paula screams as the alarm goes on and flat shows on monitor. Elaine died.
