a band of demons passed through the village during the night and mysteriously stole the sign of Ogden's tavern.  He deemed this too queer and asked the adventurers for their help to discover what is behind this weird behavior.

The quest took another direction now that the party encountered a fallen one who told them that the tavern sign was stolen from him by some demons and that they have to fetch it for him.
